Conspiracy: it was all planed from the mods and we get the Announcement tomorrow with reaching page 1021.

Nobody sensible even expected that. We all know the announcement will be followed by a trailer a few days to a week later. Then be followed by months and months of silence. Even up to as much as a whole year. This is standard for Rockstar. And most of us are well aware of it and used to it.

We pretty much got up to November 7 which is take two’s earnings call or it’s a wrap for this year. Tomorrow, Sunday and the 29th are the 3 key dates for a possibility

In all seriousness - I think tomorrow they'll publish a newswire article to acknowledge the 25th anniversary and in the article they'll mention VI again, but just to give an update about development going well and to stay tuned to the newswire for more info in the coming weeks or months. Seems more plausible than a full blown announcement.

I don't think many people are saying that to make you think they know better, or have any inside info that you don't, but to calm y'all down so you're not too disappointed.

It might not be the official VI reveal, but I hope they at least say something for the big anniversaries.

It's interesting that the majority of people buying GTAV nowadays still opt to get the whole package despite the existence of a standalone GTAO port which costs 50% less. Some do get the standalone port but it never breaks top 10-15 in charts whereas GTAV almost always is within top 5.

I just can't help but feel Rockstar will do the same thing they did for GTA IV's 10th Anniversary.

 

Besides, when even is the 20th Anniversary of Grand Theft Auto? By all accounts it has various different release dates. And no single solid date that you could definitely choose, based on a simple Google search. And I was too young at the time to remember when it came out. Back then, it was "just another game" and I didn't care enough when it came out. "GTA, which is to launch on November 28..." -November 20, 1997

I am not sure but i think rockstar wants to safe storage space with making new gta online characters less detailed and giving new cars the same interiors as old cars

Because they're plasticized as f*ck, it's like they're going from a flesh and blood machine at least, to one where it turns you into plasticine and instead of looking like a real person, you're a caricature of what you once were, a syndrome that has happened with characters from the IV and does not apply only to Tony.

At least and judging by the leaked videos, although it is in a pre-alpha phase for development, they are going the way that RDR2 was and I have even seen the detail of the sun when it hits their ears, it preserves that detail of the blood on the skin.
