Bad Sports Timer

Hello

 

Not played GTAO for around 6 months now but thinking of going back in to get myself reaquainted before the next DLC.

 

Long story short, I was in BS lobby before 'retiring' for 4 months I think, I just reloaded the game and my BS timer is 0Y0M0D so basically sentence served. I still have my dunce hat on and even after switching sessions I am still in BS lobby unable to get out.

 

I remember reading that this was a problem some time ago but obviously it has noty been patched, so, my question is, how the hell do I get out of BS now I am no longer a BS? Do I have to contact R* support or is there something else I can do?

When you check your player card, does it say "Bad Sport" still?

[No Homing]

You might have less than 1 day to go.

Checked again still in BS. Got a reply from support saying "we can't adjust bad sport stats" I didn't ask them that I asked why I can't rejoin normal lobbies. Useless. Perhaps it's time to totally bin off this mess of a game now I know why I got fed up with it

I'm a Bad Sport veteran, having been thrown in there multiple times and served a sentence that lasted almost 1 and a half years. If the timer is stuck on 0Y0M0D, try unlinking your Social Club, then linking it back again. That could fix it. Make sure the game is closed when you do this. After relinking, start up the game and see if you're still in Bad Sport.

That is the best way. Life is so much better when this outdated, POS game is removed from it.

A buddy of mine did that years ago and that worked for him.

For the 8 times I have been there, I have never had the counter mess up like that.

Unlink your Social Club? How do you do that?

Go to your SC profile, go to settings, then go to "linked accounts". There will be an option to "unlink" your account.
