Interested in seeing what they actually do but that release sounds very promising, for GTAO. Invite only sell missions will be a great thing for most every player. 
 

I never got into RDO and now I’m really glad that I didn’t since they are all but done with it. I expect it to be gone once the next GTA drops. Sucks for those of you that put your time and effort into it.

What about the Doomsday heist? I just bought a facility recently when they were on sale and was super pissed off to see that you have to be in a public session to do the setup/prep missions.

• Requested community changes

I am happy to see that Rockstar is willing to listen to us as players and make changes to the game. Even happier to see them acknowledge this and not just silently change things.

• Oppressor and Countermeasures

I’m not the type that usually plays in pubs but when I do I sure don’t want an Oppressor to blow up my car, even if they get to pay 20K in insurance. It’s just annoying and dumb. I’m glad they are doing something to address griefing. Not only do I think griefing mechanic motivate toxicity in chat but also ruin the fun for everyone.

• Access to snacks and armor

I wonder what they mean by this, I really wish I didn’t have to call Franklin or go to Ammunation every time I need them. If I can buy ammo from the Interaction Menu, why not armor? Nice to see that change.

• Increased GTA$ payout

Long overdue, the last bonuses on Yacht missions still weren’t enough to make these missions worth playing. The bonuses were 4X… Plus, it makes more sense to play old stuff if it’s properly balanced. I hope this makes the cost of old content cheaper and the cost of current content fairer.

• Coop Payouts

No more being a slave to our CEOs, that’s good . Seriously though, getting 2K to place posters (Nightclub) is kind of lame considering the amount of work that it requires. At least having a decent pay as a member can offset that, among many other types of missions.

• Greater payouts in Select Heist Finales

I assume this refers to the old heists. Awesome stuff if it’s the case. They are quite harder from what I remember...

• Invite only selling missions

Sign me the hell up. Finally. I'm tired of using Guardian.

I guess it's something for us addicts to sniff up. Can you imagine the sweat from these clowns when they figure out they mk2 has buzzard missiles? This could be a lot of fun... And I mean a lot. Because you could attack mk2 with so many more aircraft.

User suggested fixes. Could it be that after 5+ years of requests, they finally fix that damn Faction? You'd think that now that it's a drug car to deliver, they'd have noticed it does a stoppy into just about every curb in Los Santos.

Bigger payouts I don't care about since I have nothing to spend it on, either because no content or no space.

 

Oppressor nerf which doesn't matter, because godmode glitches and cheaters make public sessions unplayable regardless.

 

I guess I no longer have to force solo-public sessions for the occassional nightclub sale. Yay. Worth the wait. This is the most anemic announcement of an update in history.

What are you smoking, it runs great on PS5 at least.

 

I think this is a great sounding update. I am not convinced I have enough faith in R* to implement things correctly much as I'd love to believe in what they say. Hard to trust them after GTA+.

Sounds like a similar summer update like the last 2 years. Happy about the MK2 fix and some higher payouts, not like I do more than hang out and drive around anymore...

And of course the obvious news they've been working on GTA6. I hope we see something soon.

I'm 99.99999% sure this hype was based on someone's random DLC idea post on this forum in which a million people liked.

I don't think there was ever any evidence of such a thing existing; same with Cops and Crooks, just people wishing for it, to the point where people think it was actually being made.

 

If I'm wrong about the evidence of either of these, please send proof or something.

What caused hype for that was also a leftover in the "E&E" files, but that could still very well be for a Winter DLC they're certainly already working on at the same time as this.

 

I'm honestly very excited about the GTAO buffs, and sell missions on Online. I just wonder about sourcing missions.

Sell missions in Invite Only? It sounds nice but... it's way overdue and I have a bad feeling about it. Hopefully I'm wrong. But I too am intrigued to see what the small QoL updates will be. To me they're sometimes the best part of an update. Let's all give a cheer to the Reduced Mechanic Cooldown (5 to 2 minutes) we got from Arena Wars!

Abandoned, like 90% of their past people and content. Though it looks like they're "un-abandoning" things at the moment.

 

I also guess this new "budding criminal conspiracy" will lead into the inevitable December DLC.

Maybe Doomsday Act 4 and 5??? Probably not but that would be awesome.

 

EDIT: People keep looking into things too much. I highly doubt we're going to see Rosalia, Dre, or the Nightclub DJs again. Sometimes something is just a feature, and not a future driving force.

I joked the other day in another thread that this would be a fix I'd rather enjoy. Very nice indeed!!!
