keep loosing ammo

Hi all,

 

my ammo keep disappeering, mostly the explosives.

the funny thing is, I contacted support and they literally told me to buy it again. I did and it disappeared again.

Now the support is discussing with me ( 6 messages about it) instead of helping me out. they want proofs from me like I have to prove them, when I bought it. etc.

 

its frustrating to be handled like this from a company swimming in money....

It's been broken since forever. It can happen both due to game bugs and because of cheaters if you are on PC. Regular ammo removed by cheaters usually comes back after session change/game restart. But mk2 special ammo and sometimes rpg/gl/throwables are gone for good. Don't waste your time with support monkeys tbh, just rebuy and carry on.

Did by any chance you participate in any Business Battles? Because those 100% take away throwables and homing missiles. I've done a whole heap of those during the last couple of days, and have had sticky bombs disappear on three occassions, and homing missiles got drained twice today after battles.

hehe. I wish just this would happen to me! Although it may be happening and I just don't notice. 

I keep losing guns-always the expensive guns. I have to go rebuy the Unholy Hellbringer this time. Rebuy number 3,I think.

Any complaint is met with me being accused of trying to rip off RS.

I send them a screenshot of my Social Club account of my Unholy Hellbringer stats to prove I owned it at one time (which I shouldn't have to do-it is their computer system and they should have a record of what I own) and they respond that I could have picked up that weapon in a mission.

Whatever.

I'll just rebuy it with fake money.

But with my real money, I already dumped my Take Two stock.

It is only a matter of time until a company that is antagonistic towards its customer tanks.

I tried to explain them what happened during 3 Tickets about that issue. 

 

Their Support said, I should try the Personal weapon inventory Trick and buy everything new, which I did.

 

They Said they will Check my Game Files to verify and asked me about the Date of the buy twice.

 

I also told them, that its Not possible to buy molotovs regularely, which they didnt react to.

 

End of the song, I ve been never been refunded and lost my ammo about 5 Times now. 

 

The Standard answer from them is that there are No Game Files recorded to Prove me wright

Hope they fix this soon perhaps in the next big update, kinda tired of losing special rounds like the Heavy Sniper Explosive Ammo, as they are not cheap...

I constantly loose ammo, mostly explosives and emp grenades....

it happens almost everyday, I cant even buy new ammo, because the next day its gone.

this leads to a bunch of weapons, I just cant use anymore since they patch it.

 

I have opened several tickets about it, but rockstar wants timecodes from me, when I rebought my ammo to give me a refund.

Not to mention this is ridicolous, because the discussion about ONE refund last longer than 3 weeks. During this time I lost new ammo several times.

This is happening to me too on PS4/the PS4 version on PS5. I don't know if it has happened all the time since i just restarted on PS4 in May after transferring to PS5, but it has definitely been happening for a few months. Like some said, mostly Mk2 and RPG rockets and minigun ammo. But also my regular shotgun ammo.

 

I had this problem years ago and i contacted R*. I think they told me to clear the cache(which i think is their go-to solution for everything). As far as i remember that didn't solve it but they reimbursed me the amount i told them i had spent on it and somehow it didn't happen again. Maybe i deleted the game and reinstalled it i can't remember. But it doesn't seem like there is a clear solution to this.

today I logged in and the game took ALL my throwables, all my special ammo and all my heavy ammunition....

its almost like I havent any ammunution, but the guns....

 

I wrote multiple tickets to rockstar and all they say is :  we are trying to solve the problem and I should rebuy the ammo. They say that for years now.

I bought the ammo, and never got refunded, even if they said so.....

 

Im so pissed, that I will glitch the sh*t out of the game to get my money back.....
