Everytime i die, i get kicked out of the session

Basically what the title says, whenever i die the screen turns to black and when i respawn im alone in a private lobby. Its really annoying because i keep having to join my friends again and again and again.

My specs or whatever its called arent the best, i use a fairly old laptop (5-7 years old most likely) but it can run GTA very well, aside from some slow loading in of the map if im going too fast in a car.

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M

Processor: Intel Core i5-4210H

And im also using Windows 10.

A possible theory i might have which i cant confirm is that whenever i die, my internet connection drops for a couple seconds which then makes me disconnect from the session. I have no idea if this is true but its the only theory that i can come up with.
I hope someone can help me but i can understand if people dont figure out how.

Yeah your theory seems about right. Maybe try playing around with power saving options. Like put stuff to performance, disable windows ability to turn off devices (especially wifi adapter) and such.

Dropping the internet connection is the essence of creating a public solo lobby-which in this case you don't want.

That says your computer is not keeping up with the game demands.

You could try adding more memory to the laptop,but personally I'd save up the cash and get a new computer. Keep in mind a desktop computer with a decreet graphics card or even a newer integrated graphics CPU from AMD will run circles around a more expensive "gaming" notebook.
