Question about the next gen version of GTA Online

I recently got gta online for my Xbox Series S because that is the version that my friend plays on. I haven't started yet but I know that when you create a new character you are given 4 million dollars and pick between four different businesses you want to start https://9apps.ooo/. My question is if there is any way to skip this part and start your character from scratch, kind of like on the older versions of the game. If there is a way to do this please let me know in a comment, it would be very helpful.

I think this is possible by creating a char playing through the tutorial, and then you just delete the char again. I think this 4 million is a one time only for each account. But i could be wrong of course.

If this doesn't work, you could simply buy the most useless things with the starter money, like buying busses or mules or other nonsense, vehicles that can be deilvered by Pegasus.

But honestly you shouldn't do that, you should use the starter money in a useful way and also choose the right "path" for you. Why waste it, just so you have to grind more? You would still have that "start from scratch" feeling somehow, because your char is a low level you only own very basic stuff etc. you still got that feeling of having to progress.

Why the hell would you want to do that? Seems pretty silly in a game where money means everything.

I suppose it could be a “ I worked for everything I have” but only you care about that. Every little bit helps with a new character.

I wonder why as well. I can definitively say that as someone that has played this game since day one the ability to skip the first few years (at that time) of grind and get into the proper money making should not be passed up.

It is a start from scratch lol. You get to buy a business with no upgrades, a car and some weapons. It's not 2015 anymore, so having one business is almost nothing.

Just pretend that your brand new character won the lottery, or was left an inheritance or something, and arrives in Los Santos to turn his life around with his sudden windfall lol

I mean, it wasn’t specified which direction the life would turn around to.

Pick a business you don't want, blow the cash on some stupid Pegasus vehicles you'll never use, and presto, you start from scratch.

Personally I can imagine the appeal of working literally from scratch like we used to do. If you did it once upon a time, you might even be nostalgic for it--I was, when I got back into the game on a new platform. Kind of enjoyed going through that again--stealing my first car, robbing stores and doing contact missions for enough money to buy a crappy apartment, and all that. On the other hand, 4 mil is basically nothing in the game's new economy. It evaporates in the blink of an eye.

$20K for making it through 10 waves of survival.

Selling a felon gt, baller or if you were lucky gang car every game day.

That and that Martin mission down by the police station.

Getting billions dropped on you, then taken away.

I remember how it was, when i started playing it day one on PC. It wasn't very nice having to grind hundreads of contact missions. I really started playing after the Office and warehouses been released. That was my moneymaker, and it still is.

My first car was the free Elegy, my first Super was the Turismo R, that i later sold to get extra cash for an Adder, that i later sold to buy a X80 Proto. The beginning felt so unbelievable grindy, i was so jelous seeing all these ppl with their Buzzards in contact missions, i was a basic ground dude, not even with a bulletproof Kuruma or something.

At some point i had enough money to buy the Maze Bank Tower office, but i still needed to buy warehouses and upgrades and stuff, that was the first time i bought a Sharkcard. I think i bought 3 Megalodons in the beginning years, always from keysites so they were cheaper but it still pissed me off. The beginning was horrible in 2014.

f*ck no i would never do this to myself on purpose again.

Grinding Biker Jobs when that first dropped and being amazed that full missions were in free roam with no loading. Twenty grand a pop, amazing!

I was messing around the other night, finished a Union Depository contract and decided to go to the casino, played Three Card Poker and walked away with another three hundred grand in less than ten minutes.

I have enjoyed it since starting again with the XBOX One version since (regrettably) migrating my character to the current gen Series X game.

I hear that a ticket to R* support can revert a migrated character back, but I think I will leave him where he is and carry on with the new boy on XBOX One for a bit.

create a character with the boosts

withdraw all your money into your pocket

create a second character

play on the second character from scratch

A note to mention is that of these "4M$" you have to spend "3M$" of them on businesses, cars and weapons, so you basically enter the game with only 1M$ in cash left.

And yuou can only do this introduction ONCE, since it is tied to your Social club Account...
