Congratulations to @Keyes_DYOM for a very narrow win in this MOTW! 

 

I had voted on this contest myself and personally found it extremely difficult to pick a winner. Hence I'm also going to commend @Toriality for his creative extended stunt sequence. However Keyes received my vote as I appreciated the extra effort he put into the presentation and story.

Next week we will return to the Forum voting system, but with a twist. Votes will no longer be public. Ledbys have been now given the permission to view private votes, therefore I (and our other ledbys) will be able to verify the votes to ensure they do not break our MOTW rules.

 

On an additional note, I am banning the duo @Rathard and @Str33t from the DYOM subforum and related community events completely. This partial ban situation is getting too confusing and a headache to deal with. It's noteworthy that pretty much every time Rathard has made a mission submission for MOTW, there has been some form of controversy, and Str33t has always been related to the matter in some way or form. This has been an occurrence way too common to be coincidence. Hence this is a long overdue decision and I feel I have been too lenient about this matter, however this is the moment I've chosen to fix it. I simply don't have the time to consider specific punishment for this duo every single time they come up with something new to get the staff involved. I think the community will be a lot better off with this decision being taken and I'm sure the majority of the community will wholeheartedly agree with me. I have been 'open to discussion' about this matter for far too long, so this is the point where I confirm that my decision is final, no matter the response I receive about it. Rathard is welcome to create whatever mission he pleases to and publish it on the DYOM site, however he is no longer welcome to share them here as community event submissions.

 

On another another (hopefully unrelated) note, on this week's poll there was an astounding 12 spam responses filled with absolute nonsense. I pity whoever is behind this pathetic ploy to make me spend that extra 3-4 minutes to clear these responses. I sincerely hope the perpetrators find something better to do with their life, because time is an invaluable asset that is unfortunately limited.

If you mean posting on this forum, we will refer the issue to forums staff and they will take the decision. However I will strongly recommend them a ban due to your past and current antics. Admins have been keeping an eye on this situation and know what is going on.
