Are you guys merging all ASI plugins into one core file for the mods or are you keeping them all separate? It'd be nice to have the latter and be able to individually remove any performance-heavy mods like SkyGFX.

You might aswell not play the mod if you don't use SkyGFX then. That's pretty much essential for getting the mod to work. You can change the settings, sure, but SkyGFX is essential for getting the atmosphere right.

Though for the lower end users, you'll be happy to know that Backface Culling makes a difference in performance, according to ForeverL, since he also has a lower end system aswell.

Okay, but in the extreme case, what are the cons of not using SkyGFX? I believe you ported some objects from LCS with the Leeds building pipeline data in them which will lack, for example, the appropriate Leeds prelight provided by SkyGFX?

This community of mods surprises me more and more, I like that they use a lot of the discarded content of the game that was not put in due to limitations.

 

You could use the character of Darkel for example, even give him a voice if you want, although instead of giving us the rumored missions that are so well known and boring, take advantage of this character to expand the map a bit and take advantage of it in your missions, like the plant of toxic waste, the prison, the yachts, the casino, the liberty city bank. etc. All concepts of the beta of the game.

 

By the way, I also made outifs of Claude's beta clothes, although I discarded the open jacket suit because I can't find a dff model that suits me, so I use the classic tie suit. Did you give him a hood? I did it but I don't know what colors to give it:

You can't, we actually designed the interior around not being able to point a gun at the clerk. 😁

 

@LautarochannelWe're trying not to get too big with map expansions, we've/we're adding a few pieces of land here and there to accommodate new areas but the power plant for instance will just stay to GTA3D. Same for Darkel.

I absolutely love the improvements that have been made while staying true to the game. It's a really comprehensive and good mod, I'll be looking forward to its release. Really good job.. 🙂

yo i have an 2 ideas for some mod features

1- if ur plannin on adding side missions or such it would be neat to add replicas of tlads and tbogts gang/drug wars

how this will play out?

 

let's say that drug wars would be available after completing kenjis missions available outside his casino after triggering the mission you would be greeted by two yakuza members (Armed with ak47 and uzi)

 

u would be hitting enemys takin there money and or stealing cars from them containing tha money after that return to kenji then u would be rewarded

after like completing the 1st 10 missions u would be rewarded with a bullet and fire and explosion proof yakuza stinger that would be useful to missions

 

as for gang wars would be available after the mission rumble let's say u head for the house near the payphone u contact d-ice from

again u would be greeted by 3 red jack members armed with uzis and ak47 and shotguns

and u just go and take out gangs (exept the yakuza) after killing tha gangs the mission ends just like in tlad 

the rewards? tha same with tha drug wars one but with tha hoods rumpo oh and also

along with recruiting them after completeng the first 5 missions and 10 for the hoods rumpo

(also make the player immune to ur buddies weapons since mistakes may happen)

(also make them endless just like they were in tlad and tbogt)

 

(and for the special cars make them spawnable once meaning tha if u don's save them in the garage after they will disappear

and to make them spawn again complete the missions with the same amount and so on)

 

"i thought this would be ambitous for ur mod😂 so i was like let's give out the idea"

 

2- gang weapon upgrades

 

in the game gangs like the mafia and the colombians get weapon upgrades 

 

how about adding this for the triads diablos ,red jacks and the yakuza

since they don't get weapon upgrades

"as for the diablos after completing el burros missions or the mission uzi rider from king courtney they would be armed with uzis instead of bats the pistol stays" the same with the triads after the mission blowfish

 

 

"and for the yakuza (after the mission waka gashira wipeout) and red jacks (after "rumble") they would upgrade from pistol to ak47 the uzi stays and doesn't change"

Unsure if we even could, there are too many changes done to make it work by now, so much so that it's dependent on LC01. So for now they're like that, in the future, we'll see...
