Although I wonder how you guys will handle the recreated cut bodyguards feature when it comes to taking up missions from Donald Love (especially the "Waka-Gashira Wipeout!" one) with them following you around. A simple despawn, perhaps? 🤔

Yeah they will despawn when starting missions. They'll also be unlocked after completing Kanbu Bust-Out and hiring them will cost some money (they may become free once the storyline is completed).

Oh, well... it's alright. But TBH the guys despawning when starting a mission kinda undermines their usefulness.

 

Imagine doing a shooting-heavy mission like "Grand Theft Aero" or "The Exchange" with some extra help on the side, that'd be a nice touch like the Terry and Clay thing from TLAD.

 

I think they should become unavailable after the storyline is over or something, considering how there's such a short span of time between the death of their only surviving leader Asuka and the end of the game, at which point Claude's alliance with the Yakuza kinda silently gets "disconnected". Not to mention there's hardly anything they can help out with after the final mission.

 

Although there's one thing you could possibly do; maybe make them be twice more costly to hire after Kenji's death? IDK...

I could try making them available in certain storyline missions if anything.

EDIT: Looking at the missions themselves, they are viable in like 3 or 4 missions, rest of them being either a hinderance or just completely useless. So unfortunately they are going to stay locked to freeroam.

We have the model ready but it hasn't been rigged yet. She now looks like in the artwork.

Can’t wait, is it the one where she’s in white or redish/pink? Also, is Marty Chonks and his victims all going to be generic NPCs or have their own skin? Will the Diablos look like their Beta release or end release?

have u considered adding the awol angel side mission from lcs since gta 3 never had a mission where npc drives and u shoot this made an appearence in vice city

also is the fighting is like lcs or the same

oh well that would've been great to see in this mod, y'all don't need bike for tha mission it can work on cars and boats aswell 

 

oh neat, good choice on sticking on lcs animations for fighting i prefer that

Excellent addition!!! Looks great and fits with the setting. Love the fun cola machine, it has an appropriate early 2000s vibe. The ad posters are also spot on
