I like Diversion. We use it every time in Union Depository right after you pull out of the parking garage. I draws the choppers away from you.

I'm using Diversion almost every time, from day one (well actually from a day I discovered support crew exist, and that wasnt on day one  🙄) - for fun mostly and that I dont need to switch lines on highway that much to avoid super-jeeps 😄

Wingman sometimes go crazy and makes more problems then it helps so I dont use them... but wingman can be funny, like one time it zoomed in Union Dep. garage followed by 3-4 extra cop cars - it was mayhem 😆

BTW, yesterday I called Diversion support from inside of Super Dollar MOC trailer just to test it - and when I got out diversion car was somewhere on other side of island and I had whole convoy of army jeeps (a lot of them) driving on highway and not attacking me while I passed them. 🧐

Tried Diversion once, and it didn't really do all that much - but next time I get the Bank Contract, I'll try it for the last bank.

Wingman isn't great all the time, but if you finish with the Sandy Shores bank, they should arrive pretty quickly, and because it's a straight road, the wingman just ploughs in and takes all the gunfire off you. And that's really all you need: just enough time to get into your car without being shredded by two dozen dudes all aiming at the door. :p

Setup is actually quite good for the Superdollar one: get ahead of the lorry, call it in to get some heavy weapons, and then stare down the MOC while throwing everything at it (then get back in your car and catch up to finish it off).

...and then Quick Fix is quite nice if you're image-conscious, and want to show up to the drop-off with your windows fixed. :beerhat: Or maybe if you were an eejit, and forgot to put bulletproof tyres on one of your Tuners.

It's better to use Diversion when you're on your way to the drop off point. So in case of the Bank Contract use it after you've hit the last bank.

I don't know if anyone has done the Lost MC Contract this week, but it feels as if Diversion is active in that one once the trailer has been collected. By this I mean that enemies still spawn in, but they just ignore me.

See, the drive afterwards is fine for me: it's easy enough to weave through the odd cop car and NOOSE SUV, and then just go off-road to lose the wanted level.

The only thing that ever throws a spanner in the works is coming out of the bank, only to have not just a bunch of cops outside, but also NOOSE goons (who'll also start coming in through the front door if you wait too long) - too many of them, all waiting with their guns trained on the door, and you'll get drilled in seconds while you get back into your car. That's where Wingman's worked wonders for me, because I'll call it in as soon as the wanted level goes from 3 to 5, and then as soon as they pull up outside, I'll make a run for the car.

(in one instance, the wingman actually finished off the cops, and while I was trying to manoeuvre through the now-empty cars, he hopped into the passenger seat - I mean, help yourself, buddy, you've earned it... :p)

ZR350 is mine - partly because any excuse to drive an RX-7, but also because it's so small and throwable. You can easily get it up and down the ramp in front of bank C, with room to spare:

I'm always cagey about parking right in front of the doors, though - did that once, and an NPC inside the bank decided to cower in front of the driver's side door, blocking me from getting in. :facedesk:

Are the rear louvers on the ZR350 bulletproof? I haven't driven my tuner cars in a while due to the performance nerf and I only remember the Jester RR louvers work.

I think they all are. I know the ones on my Dominator ASP are pretty resistant.

The Auto Shop contracts are kind of mind numbing to grind to be honest. I've been working towards completing 100 to get the award and i'm only at 37 after a year. I don't know how i'm gonna do 60+ more lol. I wish it counted towards the award to just play the finale as an associate.

I find Union Depository and The Prison Contract are the best ones to grind, both very quick and easy. The Bank Contract wouldn't be bad either if you didn't have to waste time waiting through a 10min counter during the second prep.

My f*cking gosh, is the Contract board glitched?! It's been the exact same sh*t since Thursday morning.... and I keep ignoring it. f*ck Prison, f*ck Super Dollar Deal(I'm NEVER doing that again)

I have been hit with this for the last two days. Convenient how it's the sh*ttiest ones as well, makes me wonder if it's on purpose, so people can't spam the Union Depository. For me, it's Bank, Super Dollar Deal and ECU.

You can skip it by finding a new session once you start the mission.

Conveniently, I got another Bank Contract straight after wrapping up a Prison job, so tried it out - my findings:

Diversion: doesn't get rid of any cops who've pulled up outside the bank, but it does mean you don't get any NOOSE on top, so it's no different to shooting 3-6 cops outside any other bank when the jammers run out. Plus, it means that cop coverage overall is thinner, and slower to react - you don't automatically have helicopters homing in on you (they're just milling around instead), and so it's easier to avoid them.

Wingman: provided he actually shows up, he'll take all the heat from you, and thin the herd a little, but you'll still have NOOSE Grangers on the road, and more of an active police presence in general.

Overall, then, the difference is that Wingman can mean just hopping into the car and losing the cops without even needing to fire a shot, whereas Diversion means you'll need to deal with the handful of cops just outside, but it'll almost be like doing it with a 3-star wanted level (or lower, even), rather than feeling the effects of a full 5-star level. Swings and roundabouts, but Diversion is probably the most beneficial overall (and probably more reliable).

  2. Prison Contract
  3. Bank Contract
  4. ECU Job
  5. Lost Contract
  6. Superdollar Deal
  7. Agency Deal
