Xbox 360-Like Display Settings on PC?

Recommended Posts

After playing GTA IV on my Xbox 360 for a bit, I noticed that the PC version looks brighter than the 360 version, but I can't get my settings tuned in to match it closely. Does anyone have any recommendations to bring the PC version closer in line with the 360 version via tweaking the display menu or modding it?

Here's images of both at default display settings for reference:

It looks like the Xbox 360 output is crushing blacks to be honest, do you have it set up to the right Black Level output?

I do. Look up emulator footage of it as well, it looks just like it.

Or just Series X gameplay:

GTA IV is just a dark game on 360.

Hey friend I know what you're talking about I too have been looking to make the pc version resemble the console version and I couldn't find anything online so I did my own experiment and I have found an easy solution

Go to your display settings and increase the brightness to 8 then decrease the contrast to 2 and increase the color saturation to 8

Let me know what you think friend

Still looks too bright, and a bit over saturated. No amount of tweaking I've done to just the display settings can get it looking similar, sadly.
