If your aim sucks in an auto-aim lobby you're doing something wrong.

Go to your shooting range in your Bunker if you have one, practice shooting there.

 

Aimlab that is free on Steam might help too, i haven't tested it yet, it might help ppl with bad aim.

Play hangar missions until you get the P-45 Nokota mission, but instead of using the fighter, try to snipe the Lazer pilots. You need to find good cover though, like under a bridge, in a larger building with an open side, inside an apartment complex, etc. It's pretty satisfying once you get like 3 per mission. Most jets will go down from hitting the aircraft instead of the pilot.

I found changing my aim settings helped improve accuracy at the range.
