ok so the weapon.dat thing doesnt matter, i downloaded a dff and a txd for the desert eagle, the game didnt open, so i instaled the original model again and the textures.

now all textures are mixed (for example the icon of some gun is the extinguisher texture)

it seems you did nothing wrong.. Do you have some additional mods or some scripts which initiated with some graphic/texture solutions except Silent Patch?

 

Can you just post us some screenshots?

oh hi, sorry for answering late, i used another archive that had to do nothing whit textures, i already solved the problem, thanks for answering!! i should delete the question right?

You woud be kind to explain the solution you found should anyone have the same problem.

 

You should better use Mod loader so you don't risk to mess up your gta3.img
