Either Tommy or Vic, both have empires behind them, enough to protect me. I'd prefer Tommy, though; the Vercetti Estate has a strategic position (in a middle of Starfish Island), I can just hide there while Tommy and his hencmen keep the island secured.

Assuming they're capable of everything they can do in their games when controlled by the player. then I'd have Michael to protect me. His "ability" wipes the floor with every other protag in the series.

I would prefer someone that has an empire, like Huang, or Tommy. I would choose Huang to be on my side. He's the leader of the Triads in Liberty City, and that's plenty protection for me.

If all the GTA protagonists were after me, I’d just call ANOTHER great R* protagonist named Max Payne. Ya know? Because he’s a law enforcement official who can actually kick their butts unlike the ones in the GTA titles.

Does 'protagonist' include any characters from story mode that we could play as? If so, that gives us Lamar (NO!), Jimmy (HELL, NO!), or Chop (hmm...).
