starting new over with second character - worth it?

Hi all,

 

I have a second character around level 45. Im thinking of deleting this character to start new over on this slot.

 

1.) Is this even possible without loosing the first/main character?

2.) Can I do the time trials with the second character again, if I already did them with my first character? with full payout?

You can delete your 2nd character and then make a new 2nd character, you can choose between level 1 or 120 then (if your main character has this level or above). Deleting you 2nd character doesn't affect your main character, just take care to delete the proper slot.

 

Can't help with the time trials.

do I get into career builder then? my plan is to get the free hakoucho drag and then do the time trials 2 times every week.

I believe that the rewards for time trials (regular and Hao versions) are shared between characters on the same account. That is to say, you can't get $100K on character one, and switch to character two for another $100K. 

Same with money rewards for treasure hunts (revolvers, hatchet etc.) - you can win the weapon and RP, but the money only comes once per account. 

As for the Career Builder, I personally can't advise (on PC so no E&E yet). Obviously you'll get the $4M for the new character, have to spend $3M or so on properties / weapons / vehicles before you'll be allowed into the game... but I don't know if that remaining $1M-ish can be accessed from the existing first character or whether it's only accessible to the second character.

Yes.

Not sure about the others but you can only do the Hao's TT on one character each week. When you complete it on your first character it won't appear on your second.

You can have everything in double: storage space for cars, aircraft, one Hauler Custom and a Phantom Custom, more space to store cargo to take more advantage of double weeks, being able to "store" in your secondary character special targets for heists such as the Panther and Diamonds and the list keeps going on.

But Im thinking, if you wanna have a female slot, then start a new account instead… So you can name your account something feminine, just to see what creepy people will text you 😂
