OG Part 1 Ellie seems to have that smooth, doll-like face and cat eyes. But, yeah, it did look weird the first time since she seems to have aged. But, that's expected since Ellie matured so fast due to her environment and experiences. Some idiots at Reddit actually reported that photo and my post got removed. I showed the trailer to a niece who plays on Xbox and PC and she thought the OG graphics were already great and so do a lot of people. But, IMO the graphics and gameplay look and feel outdated after playing Part 2. I hope they reworked some of the animations and gameplay mechanics. It's just that the original game is good enough and they could have used the resources to make (or remake) something else instead. And port the original TLOU (or rather remastered PS4 version) to PC instead, if Sony wants that. It does look pretty good though, clearly a lot of effort went into it. Exclusives just suck, forcing ppl to buy a specific console shouldn't be a thing anymore. Everything should always be available on PC, because it has the most computing power. I don't find the general need to remake this necessary, but since it had to release on PC (and PS5) + taking advantage of the upcoming HBO show, remaking it on TLOU2 was the only path they could've taken. I don't think spending 70€ if you've already played the remaster is a very wise investment but for newcomers and die-hard fans, it's cool. The result is stunning, they've done a great work. Also let's just be honest, a game of the calibre of TLOU1 but with Part 2's mechanics is, to put is simple, nutty.
