Rockstar Social App Unlocks

So I'm looking in the social club and see the repeating shotgun available for purchase, but when I clock on it it also says it will not unlock until certain progress is made but what's interesting is nothing else that wouldn't unlock beyond chapter 2 is even there. Will I be able to still buy it and use it or is that just $180 wasted until chapter 6? Same with the outfits, I want the Farrier for the black coat but I know it's Blackwater exclusive which is also epilogue locked.

The outfits will unlock if you buy them on the social club, even as Arthur. Not sure about the guns.

You can use "Save with cheats" glitch, and use unlock all outfits cheat. But your locked singleplayer trophies will be disabled
