What if Tommy and co. escaped in the mission Cop Land?

What direction would the storyline take from there? what would happen to the Vercetti gang, and the estate? would Lance still betray Tommy? where would Tommy go? what would Sonny be planning?

Plenty of ways it could go.

• Tommy seeks refuge with Colonel Cortez aboard his yacht. He instructs the gang to lay low. He uses The Colonel's connections to arrange a fat payoff to the VCPD. The case is dropped. Tommy returns to Vice City and continues to bribe the cops on a monthly basis to ensure he doesn't find himself in the same situation again. The story continues.
   
• Tommy flees to The Bahamas. It isn't far. He buys himself a couple of government officials there and begins importing drugs from Colombia. Lance does the flying. He begins selling coke to dealers who travel to The Bahamas from Vice City. He makes loads of money. He doesn't send any to Sonny. Sonny shouts a lot. Lance decides to sell Tommy out because Lance is still a jealous little bastard.
   
• Tommy decides it's game over. He pays off the gang, disbands them and bundles the rest of the money from the safe into a suitcase. He is smuggled out of Vice City by Avery Carrington and lays low at a safehouse in Texas. He plans to buy a new identity and cross the border into Mexico.
  
  Unfortunately for Tommy, Avery has run into some union problems in Liberty City. The only man who can fix them is Sonny Forelli. Avery decides to betray Tommy and hands his location over to the Forellis. Sonny sends an army of mercenaries to Texas and they shoot it out with Tommy on the border. He fends them off but is seriously wounded. He staggers towards the sunset and the game fades to black.
