Level 30 Should I buy Kosatka?

I'm brand new. I've been playing for a week. With the cash they gave me at the start and my earnings I have enough for the Kostka. I'm not a great player. Should I buy it now and start the Cayo heist or am I too small a level? Would I be wasting my money? Should I buy something else instead?

Thank you for your help!

I'd say go ahead and get it. It won't be long before you don't have to worry about money anymore.

Buddy, It all depends on your plans for the future?

If you think you will be playing GTA online in six month or a year from now, then absolutely yes, get the Kosatka and learn the Cayo Perico ropes. Otherwise, buy what you want and have fun with it. Not everyone is a long-term committed GTA grinder you know.

an invest in the nightclub would be another option, if you will play constanly to profit

El Diablo 702

The sub is definitely a good investment especially if you can get the helicopter too.  and as said above once you get the hang of cayo it’s the best money maker in the game.

Nightclub isn't good for new players.    You really want to have the Bunker and several biker businesses and possibly even Imports (I forget if you can assign a guy to that) all before you get Nightclub.

When you have the businesses to assign nightclub workers to then yeah it's great.    Otherwise wouldn't really bother with as a night player.

The second best thing to Cayo Perico is the Contract DLC.    Takes a little bit longer then Cayo but the good thing about Contract especially for new players is it can be done entirely in private lobbies.

Plus the free missions the Contract gives pay out way more then VIP Work or Client Jobs and are just as easy.   And you can unlock the Payphone hits which is like 80k for a 5 minute job (with a cooldown after of course)

Pure money per hour Cayo is still best.   But grinding just Cayo all the time does get boring.   So if you want to change things up and still make good money in the process, Contract certainly isn't bad.

Plus with the Agency and Imani you get access to Imani Tech on select vehicles.   So even in populated sessions annoying broomstick greifers can't lock on and blow you up every 5 seconds.

Don't get me wrong though, Nightclub does become worth it... eventually.    It's just not something a new player should be investing in.   Nightclub is almost more of a endgame business, so to say.

You forgot that only the Nightclub bring's 50.000 k a day now. Which Makes this Invest very interesting for new Players

Yes

The Cayo Perico heist itself is quick and easy if you scouted a disguise and grappling hook; in fact you don't even need to kill anyone, so level doesn't really matter. Some of the prep will be simpler and faster once you have a Sparrow, but it's not too difficult doing it without one.

I would say go for the Kosatka at the earliest point you can in order to ensure that you have a reliable method of getting cash quickly completely solo.  You can do the entire Cayo Perico Heist from scope-out to finishing the heist in under an hour relatively easily - and you'll normally net over a million every time.

Once you have this set up, you can use the funds from your Cayo Perico heists to invest in whatever other vehicles and businesses you want to get or upgrade in future.

The heist (as long as you go stealth) and the preps are easier than any other heists, including the original "apartment heists".

Why should anyone buy the Kosatka at any level?

Yes, yes, and yes. Cayo Perico is the best way to make money hands down. Level is irrelevant since it isn't hard to do the heist completely stealthy.

This thread is to help OP with their question, not for arguments between other vet players, removed a couple of posts that were already starting an argument about what's better or what's worse for new players. Thanks. :)

The Kosatka is a must. To paraphrase Pavel, the Kostatka is your "ATM - boop, boop, boop, boop"

It remains probably the best and most efficient money-generating mechanism for solo players. The Cayo Perico heist is a little dull after a while, but it is easy and can be done from start to finish in around an hour or so, usually for a take in excess of $1,000,000

Depends on your preferred play style.

I've bought 3 MC businesses and a Bunker, because I like driving around and delivering stuff, with mild combat thrown in sometimes.

I haven't bought a Kosatka, because I don't like the mission style of breaking into places and sneaking around and/or killing everybody.
