Introducing: The Vespucci Job (Remix) (26th May)

Won't be on this again this week.

With the release of newer more advanced games on these new gen consoles, R* really need to up their game (pun intended)

This game hasn't been updated since December last year, almost half a year ago - newer games have been released, older games have been updated more often than this. 

I just feel personally this game isn't updated enough to keep it relevant, I understand the development of the next GTA will be taking priority, but still....

I slightly disagree. Many players in this game are awful at flying (along with most other things). I won my first try as a runner using a motorcycle. When I used the Hunter the next round, the player on the bike and the other 2 Hunters kept crashing over and over.

I just did that one yesterday, the 3 of us in the copters weren't that great and we never even touched the Runner. One guy killed himself at least 4 times, and I only crashed once.

I think that's probably going to be a lot more common than 3 master copter flingers.

I played all the new modes and the best one is definitely the Dukes of Hazzard one. The heli ones are pretty fun too.

 

The worst is definitely the Arena War one, god I hate those vehicles. The city cop cars drive pretty sh*t too.

 

Also I wonder how long before people start glitch saving those cop outfits

This has been an ongoing debate for years as to which flag most closely resembles the Confederate flag on the Dukes.

Confederate flag is based in the Scottish St. Andrew's cross . Alot of Scottish in the south

I think only the VP can do that, not the president.

Just like only the Road Captain can summon vehicles.

Yep, what @DrEeveell said. You need to have someone join your MC and then drop the bullshark for you. AKA, waste of time.

i just tried the mode. and both maps were with helicopters. and as the runner it is more annoying with all the screen shaking. like its so hard to see. especially when there are three people all shooting barrages at once is very annoying. thankfully they were not very good shots. but just having the explosions near the car puts the runner at a disadvantage.

Yeah I think the helicopter ones, albeit very fun, are my least favourite. They're a bit OP for the Runner given, regardless of the skill of the pilots, you do still have 3 helicopters with barrage missiles chasing you. Cool for screenshots and all but I think I prefer the other classic maps where it's land vehicle vs. land vehicle.

Vespucci Remix Review by the Best Damn Cop & Wheelman in Los Santos:

I love the original Vespucci Job. I absolutely DOMINATE people in one of my Best Payday modes. Im almost NEVER stopped, and I can practically stop Crooks single handedly, give me one decent cop wingman and you WILL BE SHUT DOWN! I love being able to drive our custom Issi Classics. Not many can handle that car, and it makes the mode very fun for decent wheelmen.

 

When I saw the news of the Remix coming out I was excited. But after playing just a few of them on PS5, I have mixed emotions. I was giddy to see James Bond and Dukes of Hazzard maps! But then I see we DO NOT get to use our Custom Vehicles for these modes. Thats a HUGE Letdown. Especially because I drive a blue General Grant car with American flag up top and GENGRANT plates. I may have WET myself if they let me run from you fools in that, being an 80s kid. The second biggest letdown is the cars they force you to drive are STOCK. WTF? I dont see the Cop cars getting an engine nerf. Then they thought it was a good idea to add light traffic. Thats some bull****. Then even BIGGER Bull**** is them adding the cops from the Blues Brothers to "help" you. WTF Rockstar? As if my usual cop teammates arent usually in my way as it is, often taking me out of a play, now Ive got to navigate MORE Keystone cops getting in my way and basically running DEFENSE for the Crook! When I first saw them yesterday I was like, ok, that'll help. But then I see their aggression is set to 3/10, no where near the maniacs they are in SP and Online. They are literally JUST getting in the way of the Crook and the Cop teams alike. So they add "stronger" cars for the crooks, but their stock versions arent much more powerful if it all from the standard cop cars. Then they add traffic, then they add cops. The Remix is SERIOUSLY OP for the Cops now with no added time on the clock. Now of course, Day 1, I havnt been stopped as a Crook yet, but even I will admit that Im usually able to smoke the cops with well over 1 min left on the clock most runs. The Remix, Im BARELY completing the checkpoints, and always with less than a minute to spare. I feel bad for you fools that are only average or sucky drivers. The Remix is HARD on the Crook now. Which sucks because I noticed a lot less demand yesterday and waiting LONG times to finally get new suckers for my matchups. If its too hard on the Crooks, most wont play now. 

 

So far Ive played the JB700, Dukes, red Sultan, and Dirt Bike. As a James Bond fan, I DID wet myself playing those modes. I escaped as Bond every run, and the FIRST match I lit that fool up with my Apache 3 times in the first round. Sorry folks, Im an Ace jet and chopper pilot. I am KILLING you fools as an Apache pilot. Even without lockon and a spread barrage with downtime, great chopper pilots are going to DOMINATE YOU GUYS. I was bending over the JB700s and dirtbikes with ease. Im even putting my Airwolf music on repeat when Im in the Apaches, and then switch to my James Bond music while in the Aston. Im having fun, but yeah, the Remix popularity is going to be hurt by the heavy handed advantage for the Cop teams. 

 

PS, Rockstar really needs to release all new modes as 3x payday for 2 weeks. 2x $ is still just a joke.

I had fun this past week doing VIP work. I only recently bought the Phantom Wedge and Plowed was a blast especially when they'd send me up north and there'd be Fieldmasters on the road. Those tractors can be launched into the sun.

 

Some Sightseer and Headhunter thrown in. Along with some other stuff like safe money, I clocked somewhere around $4-$5 million.
