Notes:

 

• New 'point system' was used to determine the winner, approved by staff and host of DYOM Contest #10.
• Propane Nightmares by Zeko was tied in the 'Expression' category, therefore it received 9 points, serving as the middle between 'Very Good' and 'Excellent' choices.
• Straight From 9th BLVD by Mikul and Propane Nightmares by Zeko were tied in the 'Best Overall Entry' category, resulting in both entries receiving 10 points each.
• As stated above, points gained from Soundtrack and Usage of Addons categories are not included in the final score due to being bonus / optional categories.
• Participants who scored most points in the 'Soundtrack' and 'Usage of Addons' categories will be inducted into DYOM's Hall of Fame, and will be assigned special Discord roles.
• Participant with the highest 'Final Score' is the winner of DYOM Contest #10.

• The awards will be handed over in time - be patient

 

 

 

Point System

 

For the first time, we have used Point System to determine the winner of this contest, slipping away from the typical 'who gets the most votes, wins' pattern. The goal of this system was to properly determine the winner by having people rate each segment of the mission(s) from 1 to 10 through various categories: Story, Gameplay, Presentation, Variety, Soundtrack and Usage of Addons. After the voting is over, all categories are summed up and the amount of points is displayed in the table to visualise results. 'Expression' and 'Best Overall Entry' categories were used to give additional points to the participants and form the final opinion of the selected entry. While ''Describe why do you think it's the best entry'' field was used as a bonus category to let people place their thoughts 'on paper' and complete the voting cycle.

Congratulations @Yasir_RFL on your win! I'm really happy for you! I regret not having the time to play and vote in this contest because I've been extra busy these past few weeks. However, I'm sure all the contestants put a great deal of time and effort into their creations, as we can see from how tight the competition was, overall. Great work!

 

Shoutout @AnDReJ98 for the topic design, like damn this is spectacular for a results topic. Due to personal reasons I've been a little more detached from this contest than I am usually when it comes to community events, however this results topic paints a clear picture of how the contest went.
