Why Didn't CJ Sue Tenpenny Or Bring Evidences To Tenpenny's Case?

I've always wondered.. CJ had so much opportunity and i have no idea about american law system but i think it was enough to send his ass to the jail..

Even 90's technology he could create a copies of photos and some papers like this dossier.. During "Riot" cutscene tenpenny was having a court and during this court CJ could bring these copied evidences against tenpenny.. My possible questions are..

- Was CJ really afraid of tenpenny?

- Had CJ concern about killing pulaski?

- Is american law system reliable?

- Is tenpenny really deep like he said?

or CJ thought they won't trust him because he is a gangsta.. sometimes a bad guy can even bring the justice with sticking the legal way if he wants 🙂

Have you even paid attention to the story? The plot is that CJ is framed for the murder of Pendelbury. The gun that Pulaski "finds" on CJ is the murder weapons that got planted there in order to frame CJ. If CJ tried to disobey Tenpenny then CJ would go to jail for murder.

Those are dossiers that he got by murdering people. How could CJ explain owning copies of confidential documents? And who would testify that Tenpenny told them to murder all those people? CJ's words alone aren't worth much.

The gun that CJ never touched.. Well.. american judges believes a police officer instead of a thug..right?? 🙂

A prosecutor gives an "Search Warrant" order to tenpenny's house and they try to find the original documents or some similar evidences.. They can even interrogate tenpenny.. being a police officer doesn't mean that "I'm untouchable"  😎

Also CJ is a gang member, criminal and has murdered hundreds of people. Not really in a good position to sue a cop lol

The point is it can mean that. The game is based on Los Angeles in 1992. Not just in the game but in real life at that time the LA police/legal system was notorious for being corrupt and for protecting cops from getting in trouble. The riots over Tenpenny's charges being dropped in the game are based on the real life 1992 Los Angeles Riots that happened after the charges against four cops who were caught on video violently beating a man (Rodney King) while arresting him were dropped. So cops being untouchable is kind of major point that the game makes.

Yeah CJ probably has some sort of a criminal background or at least an association. He doesn't start off well.

Could be but I don't think Tenpenny would be stupid enough to keep all those documents in his house. He would probably stash it in some safe house or something. Interrogation, sure. But I think they need a good reason to do that (I am not sure). This would probably happen if they believe CJ.

How does that come here? Everyone believes that it was a Ballas drive-by gone wrong. Sweet, Kendl, the whole gang, the police department. Not many people know that Tenpenny was pulling the strings.

Because legally you can't sue the police for arresting you, even if you were found not guilty, if the officer had probable cause to arrest you.

Murdering Pendelbury is good enough probable cause for Tenpenny to hold Carl by the balls (even though it's a lie). Tenpenny can prove it by saying he found the murder weapon on CJ (even though that's another a lie)

DR Cherry Bomb

Because it wouldn't be that easy. Remember, Tenpenny framed CJ for the Pendelbury case, thus the government wouldn't trust that little gangster.

And even then, y'know, if CJ tried to do it, he'd end up in the same spot as Hernandez.
