Animation Addon

Download (fixed)

This addon allows you to replace standard animations with the ones you want. To do this, you must find out the full name of the animation and write it in the animid.ini file, replacing the animation number that you want. Loading does not occur immediately and therefore the replacement may take a second. There is also a warning not to use names longer than 15 letters. If you write such a name, the game will either crash or it simply won't work. This is due to the letter limit in string format.

I tested and i gave me some weird results.

 

1. Player keeps doing the animation after animation selection

2. While playing, actors doesn't stop their animations to attack you, sometimes they try to attack you while doing their animations, causing a scene which will probably give me nightmares tonight.

 

Idk if this is happening only to me

The problem is that i don't even know what causes this slipping, so you would tell me it would be much faster

So cool. Will probably use some from MTA, and this is great tool for designers. I'll showcase it soon not rn cuz work

You can now make your own animation files without having to know which animation filename you have to replace in order to make it work in DYOM. That's awesome.

 

(ANIM_GROUP = the name of the IFP file)

(ANIM_NAME = the animation label which is inside the IFP file, you can edit with blender)

 

Put the custom IFP file in a modloader folder and now you can insert it into the mod .ini

 

Don't know if this was intentional, but great work @Halter

Oh! you mean you have the mod it has cleo at it, All dyom users have cleo ohhh so that means it works for all.

 but halter, what key do you press when you replace the anim?

No i meant that you need to put this mode in mission pack because otherwise animations won't work. For replacing anims you need just to change exact number in animid.ini file, but you need to know Anim_group and Anim_Name of your animation. You don't need to press any keys in the game to replace animation, it happens automatically

If you don't include the anims - people will not see your edited anims, you need to include files with the mod in your mission archive.
