JC2022
Add in new weapons, both from other GTA games and original ones. Add in new vehicles, both from other GTA games and original ones. Be able to visit any interior in the game. What do you think? ThatBenGuy1998
Tycek
That would make them bigger not better. Problem with Defenitive Edition doesn't lie in lack of content, but in broken foundation the game was built on. It doesn't matter how many things You add to the game, it will be broken anyway, because GSG took already broken mobile version (which they did) and built everything on it, breaking even more things in the process. DE is FUBAR, due to lack of artistic vision, talent and quality assurance and nothing will change it. JC2022
I've heard countless times that the DE is full of glitches, but I haven't played them myself so I have no opinion on that yet. ThatBenGuy1998

I heard that the most glitches were in like the first month or so of release and since then it’s gotten better (I dunno if it’s all gone yet or not) Tho I think most of the issues now are with the artstyle etc and I that makes sense tbh JC2022

Last time I played them was a couple of months ago. The large majority of the bugs/glitches were fixed and in a much better state than at launch, but as Tycek said the foundation will always be broken no matter how many bugs/glitches are fixed or content is added. If anything at all they should've used the PS2/Xbox versions as a base and they probably wouldn't have become such a nightmare. I've said many times before on this forum that the Defecated Edition is an unsalvageable product. It's not just the issue with the janky mobile code, but the butchered character models, awful textures (be it lazy upscaling or spelling mistakes), blatant disrespect for the continuity and lore (why are there Madd Dogg and OJ Loc vinyl records in Vice City circa 1986?) among other things render these games in a state where, at least in my humble opinion, are damaged beyond repair. And even if that wasn't the case, the chances of R* and GSG actually putting the effort in to rectify said issues is nigh slim. The best idea is to just stick with the originals. They're far from perfect by today's standards, but at least they were made by professionals who had an actual vision. ChengizVlad09
I would like to see them adding specific pictures of tombstones during the initial loading of each game. We could properly pay our respects while the themes are playing in the background. And of course, removing everything else after that would have been a blast. Agh, the guy can only dream, I doubt the studio(s) behind this masterpiece have the attention span, skills and imagination for such a venture, I mean, even copy-pasting proved to be too much in many cases. Anyway, I'd pay 60 dollars for it, easily. JC2022, NightmanCometh96 and Lock n' Stock
ChubbyB0b
Calling something "Definitive Edition" while it has less content than original games is the best part for me. They didn't even remaster intros of the games, they just upscaled ones which are 20 years old. Grove Street Games, "Leader in the industry". ThatBenGuy1998
All three of your ideas sound FANTASTIC! I would also like to add certain brand new missions for the definitive editions as well as keeping ones from the original games. Perhaps every now and then, the storyline could be slightly different but still mostly the same. Zello and JC2022 1

Funny you say this because when I first tried installing it on my Xbox One, there was some sort of glitch. JC2022
Zello
I'd fix the changing clothes system in SA make it similar to GTA V where you don't have to wait for every article of clothing. For Vice City I'd make all the clothes spawn at your safehouses once you get them instead of having to go to each location individually. I'd also get rid of loading screens when entering and exiting interiors. Edited May 19 by Zello JC2022 and NightmanCometh96

Zello
At least they're still working on it. I really hope they don't end support for it. JC2022
Spider-Vice
There's still movement on the Trilogy's SteamDB entries that isn't generic (meaning: a change affecting thousands of games at once) and T2 still has the mobile versions coming out during FY2023 so I don't think it's dead yet. videotech_, Lock n' Stock, JC2022 and 2 others 2 1 1 1 GTANet | Red Dead Network | black lives matter | stop Asian hate | trans lives = human lives
Emmi
They better stop supporting this nightmare and remove all evidence of its existence from their website. I do not want any resources taken away from GTA VI for this. For all I know we could be playing GTA VI by now if it wasn't for that release and now to make it even worse Take Two reaffirmed the existence of a mobile version from this. Luckily there is a mod for the original version that fixes this, so I think it would be theoretically possible to implement something similar in the DE, whether it's through the modding community or GSG/R* themselves.
