Autodesk 3ds Max 2009 64-bit not showing textures after importing .dff

I import the ipl file, then click on Views>Show material in Vievport as>Standart Dispaly with maps and nothing, absolutely nothing happens, no errors, no warning, nothing.I tried or versions 3ds max this is 3dsmax2013 but there is the same problem.
