You don't even need a separate dlc for car racing. There are a lot of races already. Players can create race map but cannot create heists. You can think of it that way.

It’s not as much the races , it’s the car customization ... this is grand theft auto ... not heist city

But LSC already offers a good amount of customisation. Actually more than actually needs !

TL-DR: Heists are 'the best' type of mission and a important part of the game and you might wanna consider posting these things in an 'opinion' instead of a 'wishlist' thread.

---

Sounds like you simply dont enjoy the game, so why not just stick to FiveM if you think that's so much better? go befriend some FiveM server admin to get them to add drag races & related cars? Or start your own FiveM dragrace server? 😛 Also on a side-note: nobody said you need a yacht? And you really dont.

Spoiler

Oh and looking at your sign-up date, i have to wonder how long you've been playing / if you are one of those people from epic giveaway who essentially ruined the game for themselves from the start by begging cheaters for money drops / doing back to back money glitches? If you screw yourself out of the reason to play then ofc you're not going to have any fun a few months later? how is that the fault of R*?

Fact of the matter is that the core gameplay of GTA is PVE, and the main gameplay loop is making money, it always has been and always will be, you shoot npc's you make money, simple. Heists are like the 'best' way to implement that (story driven missions leading up to a big one with more challenge but also sweet pay) and those missions appear to be what most of the player base enjoys, so why wouldn't they keep adding new ones? Did you already forget that in the 'heist challenge' a few weeks ago people made 1 trillion ingame dollars from heisting?? i'd say its safe to assume heists are the most played type of missions, and R* can obviously see that in their back-end, so that's why they keep making more of them. ('give the people what they want')

Also with 650+ vehicles and enough space to own like 450-500 of them, i dont really see how you could say that they should focus on cars / vehicles more, they have been doing so since launch and there's no reason to believe that's going to slow down any time soon (before you say it, yes summer dlc had less cars then usual, but that was because of the whole scrapped dlc & lockdown etc) finally just consider this, an average ('cool') car these days costs you 1,5mil or so, if not from heists, where are you going to generate that money? wanna play freemode for a real world week so nightclub generates that money passively? wanna spend forever moving crates or cars or mc product? or would you rather just play two heists and get the same funds?

Oh and dont even get me started on F1 wheels for non-F1 cars.

Saying it's been non-stop heists is a bit dramatic. Cayo Perico will be the 4th one in 7 years. We have had plenty of racing dlcs too and with several different versions or race creator there really isnt anything substantial to add for racing.

As far as "doing the same thing over and over" again, racing isnt exactly varied. You drive around a track, over and over and over and over, lap after lap after lap after lap. It's just driving.

Heists have driving AND other things to do as well. You can race your friends at the start of every mission too.

NULL AND VOID

Really want a street outlaws / tuners dlc. Where races could be worth 50 to 100 grand if certain criteria was met such as

Levels (both above 350)

Both have engine upgrade 4 or above

100 race wins and above

There could be literally one or two hundred different little boxes that could be checked. And with each one the purse goes up.

All this because Impromptu Races sucks.. Like we really out here racing for $75 to $200 dollars?

If we have to have another heist it'd be nice if it was one that was structurally a bit more actual fun to do...maybe this is just me but the ones that exist ingame already are a bit of a drag and its probably safe to say how rigid everything is might play a factor in that kind of feeling

anyways it'd be cool to have heists that run on actual planning. just a building that you have to get into, steal from, and then leave and how you pull that off is up to the players, collectively. maybe with setups, you can put a vehicle of your choice nearby or open up some weird routes in or out, but that'd be optional

The thing im basing this heist system on is the new videogame Teardown, and also that thing people collectively did with the pac standard heist where they figured out a more bulletproof way of getting out of the city. it'd be really cool if you could get that kind of thing going in the actual heist itself, and also way more

In case this island dlc is accessible only during the heist, I was thinking what could they use it for in the future updates. The obvious ideas were: Adversary modes / Future contact missions / Creator mode.

But than I started thinking about something more unique. What if they let us buy the mansion along with the whole island? Even if its not part of freeroam?

How would it work you ask?

Well first you have to kill the drug lord at the end of this heist. Than you can buy and customize the place like every other property. After that you can join it (alone or with your friends) the same way you join any other race, mission on heist. Basically it would be a separate lobby with your own private island for you and your friends (accessible using a phone or airport). After you join you can do whatever you want on the island (dance, play minigames, do some freeroam missions etc)

But now the unique part:
You guys know those mobile town defense games? like Clash Of Clans for example? Where you build your own town and troops and you attack other towns of other players? So you never really play PvP, you just attack a heavily defended fortress full of npc soldiers?

Well... what if they applied that to gtao?

You buy upgrades for your island, additional security, lights, additional guards, additional turrets, you decide where to place everything around the island and you have only a limited amount of resources you can use (for example 1 sniper = 2 regular soldiers, 1 heavy = 3 regular soldiers)

After you finish you have 3 game modes:

  • Raid (PvE mode) - You attack the island of other players and other players attack your. Basically everyone creates their own "island survival/heist" and shares it with the community the same way you share jobs from creator mode.
  • Defend your island (PvP mode) - Something between Piracy Prevention and Deathmath. This time you are on your own island with all of your npc goons and you defend it against other players. Basically the ending of Scarface.
  • Freeroam mode - the mode I mentioned above where you can chill and play PvE missions with your friends

edit:
Years ago when I was pitching private islands, I always mentioned it would be cool to customize our own goons. Remember those guys you could hire in vice city?
images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTUrjZ1iqzSlbdEkHynoly

Well, with this idea we should be able to customize our own island goons. Pick your own theme. Choose npcs, choose their outfits, their weapons, voices, vehicles etc.

That way you would have an endless amount of community created mini heists.

It would be kind of interesting to have something to do with the various fast food restaurants scattered around the map. Buying old and abandoned or newly refurbished restaurants like Burger Shot, Up-N-Atom, Cluckin' Bell, etc. They could even bring back "The Well Stacked Pizza Co." from GTA:SA. Creating your fast food empire and dominating the market. Even better, we would finally get to see inside of the restaurants for once. The closest we got in GTA V was delivering Jimmy to Burger Shot to pick something up. Yeah, it could be a little boring and slightly lame, but it would definitely open up some new doors for the game. The Cluckin' Bell Plant would finally have a use, and we could maybe even go inside Davis Mega Mall, and find some new missions, collectibles, and most importantly business in the food court. And it doesn't have to stop at fast food. They could branch out into candy. Imagine having your own Candybox or Sprunk factory! In addition, we could get new food trucks and take our business on the road, and maybe sell to players! This is all just an idea. I would be very surprised if Rockstar even sees this.

I would like it if they brought back missions that were on rail shooters. Those missions were the highlights of Gta San Andreas.

And these are pointless

- You can now toggle the windshield wipers of your vehicle.

- You can now toggle the hazard lights of your vehicle.

- You can now, requiring a respective selection in the "Controls" section, fill the tank of your land vehicle with gasoline, which needs to be purchased and refilled.

- You can now visit more gas station shops and purchase food and other commodities such as lottery tickets with minimal payouts for fun as well as magazines possibly containing smaller storylines respectively missions.

Nothing pointless here other than pointless pointlessness. 😘

Additional feedback/Los Santos Summer Special/Survival Creator

- In both storymode and online, the "black" colour in the classic "Respray" as well as the "Wheel Colour" categories actually seem to be "carbon black". The actual and deeper "black" can be seen in online when one is not in a crew and selecting the crew category in the "Respray" section. This assumed oversight absolutely must be fixed. It is an example of players having to find certain other ways to obtain a rather basic feature.

- The rims of some of the great new "Street" tires tend to collide with the break callipers. As this list was started months ago, and I do not have the respective screenshots at hand, a recent example that I can think of is the "Vapid Chino" using either the "Retro Steelie" or the "Poverty Spec Steelie".

- These new "Street" wheels seem to have slightly protruding rim ends, respectively the tires have been placed slightly too much inwards. This might be best exemplified by the "Truffade Concave" possibly while having a bright paint applied to the vehicle body and zooming in from a sharp angle.

- The tires of the "HVY Insurgent", "HVY Insurgent Pickup", "HVY Insurgent Pickup Custom" and "HVY Nightshark" (probably as well as other heavy vehicles) would certainly benefit from the texture refinement which uplifted the "Offroad" wheels category.

- The "Progen Emerus" lacks suspension modifications, at least a limited selection could be offered as the gaps do not look good in my view. Its stock tires also seem slightly larger than other tires, which is great, but wheel diameter options for the other wheels, at least for this vehicle and comparable ones with slightly larger stock wheel diameters, would be appreciated.

- The wheel diameter of custom wheels used on the "Vapid Contender" could be increased a little bit.

- The wheels respectively the wheel rims of the "Mobile Operations Center" cab and trailer cannot be changed, which would be desirable.

- The new "Offroad" and "Street" wheels, the ones which are not already in chrome, do not have chrome variants, which can be important for some modification styles.

- Thank you for adding the new "Offroad" wheels to storyline. Not to sound ungrateful but there do not seem to be "chrome" variants of wheel rims in the "Wheels" category in storymode, which would be necessary as neither "alloy" nor "stone silver" are perfectly cohesive with some inner wheel sections and borders.

- The roof spotlights of the "Benefactor Dubsta 6x6" are not functional, which they should be in my view.

- The "Diamond Casino" video advertisement on its in game website does not work. Virtual browser issues? ;)

- The "Deathmatch", "Last Team Standing" and possibly other variants of the "Creator" could be improved by increasing the amount of dynamic elements which may be placed, which includes what is referred to as actors. And speaking of these, implementing an additional class as artificial drivers for use in a racetrack for example could be useful.

- Another improvement to the "Creator" in the above mentioned variants would be to increase the amount of "vehicle types" which are allowed to be used. This ultimately means vehicles as placing five vehicles regardless of class, you can add up to a total of twenty specimens for each of the placed vehicles. However, the number of five base vehicles, so to speak, can be limiting. If this has to do with video memory limitations, a compromise could be to allow ten specimens of ten different vehicles.

- Also in regards to vehicles in the above mentioned "Creator" variants, adding an option to apply released liveries would seem helpful.

- In regards to the "Survival Creator", props placed onto the "Diamond Casino" roof terrace are not being saved.

- Testing a survival taking place nearby as well as on the "Diamond Casino" using the "Survival Creator", the long line of penthouse windows appears as transparent and a player can climb through it and fall through the world.

- As a general remark about the "Survival Creator", a higher player and attacker capacity might enable even more of an increase in intensity.

- In regards to the "Aircraft Carrier Assault" business event, if one approaches the carrier by air vehicles, the announcement on the radio is unmistakeable but it may not leave enough time to change course, at least when flying in high speed.

- Approaching the aircraft carrier by boat during the above mentioned event, there is an opening on the right side of the carrier's main driving direction. Although it seems like it should be reachable with the help of the waves and or by climbing onto the rear bar of the boat, it cannot be accessed as its edge does not seem to have a respective climbing property assigned.

- Further, requesting a "Merryweather" helicopter using the phone is possible while on the landing deck during the above mentioned event, and with the anti aircraft defences deactivated, it sinks into the landing deck surface slightly while it lands and one cannot enter it.

- Another fundamentally missed opportunity is the addition of the "Diamond Casino" as a predefined waypoint to the taxicab menu. And yes, that would singlehandedly make all the difference and solve everything imaginable all at once!

- In the "Pants" category, "Fitted Suit Pants" in combination with a tucked "Shirt" with the sleeves halfway up does not allow for a watch to be worn.

- In the "Shoes" category, "Sports Shoes" cannot be worn with "Track Pants". And no, do not ask.

- In the "Gerald's Last Play" mission featuring illicit businesses and warehouses, both the entry and exit prompts read "Enter".

- In regards to entries, I happen to really like the "Los Santos Summer Special" artwork. Its warmth and seemingly inviting nature. A variant without the text could be added to the "Casino Penthouse" as a large wall painting.

- This is a minor point but sometimes, on the mini map, the associate or associates of a "CEO/VIP/MCP" in a blue tone lead me to think that it is one of the new "ambient events" concerning vehicles containing illicit material.

- Transitioning from storymode to online, the tips for online tend to disappear too quickly.

I wish there were more freedom to the way heists were. Like with the casino heist, one person should be able to be the getaway driver while the others go rob the vaults. Instead of us running to get to a getawat vehicle

For the next I request a Tuner DLC.

Don´t waste size in mission or props we see just once during a mission.

Give us tuning options and car we are requesting now for years. And not like 2 or 3. A hole DLC dedicated to vehicle culture.

The ability to rob smaller Fleeca Franchises in freemode.

While the heists we have gotten recently are better and bigger, I still would love the ability to simply hold up a small Fleeca Bank in freemode. The robbery itself would give you about 30-50K which is a decent take for a small free roam activity, and no preparation is needed. Just like holding up a store, it is all about going in, threatening an employee and walking out with a take. After the complete take is stolen, the player will be given a 4 star wanted level (5 stars if a hostage was killed), and they are forced to escape. Once they escape they can share the cut with anyone in their organization through the ''Cash'' option in the interaction menu. If the player holding the money is killed, the members of the organization have 45 seconds to reclaim the take, otherwise the robbery will fail.

If a player chooses to rob a Fleeca Bank without a mask, it could give him some in-game consequences. The cops would start chasing him if they saw his face at any point in the map, and any crime they commit will instantly land them a 3 star wanted level as the cops already know of the robbery the player committed. These consequences would disappear after a 48-minute time period (or one in-game day). However, if a mask is worn the player will not receive any post-robbery consequences.

This feature to instantly rob a small bank in free-roam would instantly make freemode a lot more enjoyable and fun. It will take the veterans back to the old days of making money by holding up a store, and it would provide a good challenge for newer players.

Would LOVE to see the removal of flying cars and bikes, though I think we're long past that this point.

Would also love to see freemode heists. Let us knock over the dozens of fleeca banks across the map, air lift goods off of the train around the map, steal jets and tanks from the army base etc.

Honestly, I love your idea bro! I wish rock star would allow us to purchase more legit businesses just like in GTA Vice City.

That was my favorite thing of the casino heist update, was introducing another legal business I.e. the arcade business.

Rockstar really need better weapon customization. Whether that comes in the form of individual gun parts that can be swapped like many current games allow, or where you swap the entire weapon for one that has the same animations but a different skin such as in Saints Row or COD Modern Warfare.

In any case, I'd like to see the return of government/law enforcement carbine from GTA IV.

C7u5SQ7.jpg

There really isn't a more iconic weapon for American police and military forces. The carbine rifle in game right now is a good representation of a newer, customized civilian rifle. It would be far more immersive if they either added a new variant of it, or let you change the style of the carbine rifle to match it.

Modders have already done a great job of bringing it in.

d2435b-4.png

It's also worth noting this style of carbine is represented in the game's promotional art.

8ihVIC8.jpg

It obviously needs polymer magazines, because those are very much being retired, but this style of rifle is very much still distinctive and iconic, and I'm not just saying that because I own one, but it wouldn't be used in concept art and promotional art if that wasn't true.

Basically I feel like the tow truck from singleplayer is a real missed opportunity for player on player interaction online. With all the cars that get left in park on storefronts while people shop youd figure Los Santos would be enforcing these parking laws.

It would give us players a new way to grief each other while shopping and doing our dailies. Imagine going to buy some clothes and coming out to find your vehicle across the city being towed by some player to the car impound. It would be hilarious.

As an added bonus to make it more lucrative to the tow truck driver and even more painful to the cars owner you could even add a car crusher like the one from GTA III back in the day. Literally we could get 500 to 1000 for scrap and have people destroying eschothers cars constantly, we are petty like that.
