Cars add little to no gameplay value at all. Sure the vehicles added with Import/Export and Gunrunning add some new element, but the game is hardly focusing on cars as you felt the need to point out with the title.

 

Adding more cars is just again, another disposable DLC that won't amount to much, aside from a larger group in the community complaining.

Ive never know anyone to generally complains about new cars

There should be actions to whip and dab. I mean we can already hump the air.

Halloween DLC should also return I loved that so much.

It's not that I do not want new cars, but when a car themed DLC comes out it doesn't add any variety to the gameplay.

 

They always seem like a way to get players who are low on GTA funds to buy shark cards. Whereas an add-on like Gunrunning or Import/Export, they add new cars AND new missions/activities.

It's not that I do not want new cars, but when a car themed DLC comes out it doesn't add any variety to the gameplay.

 

They always seem like a way to get players who are low on GTA funds to buy shark cards. Whereas an add-on like Gunrunning or Import/Export, they add new cars AND new missions/activities.

Well no one is forcing you to buy the cars, and there free DLC so im not complaining

I got an idea,

along with new heists that are like the original first set of 5 we should get the ability to rob in freemode.

 

Although the situation now seems like they dont feel like making new heists so this could very well be the closest thing to that since they wanna make shark card cash and keep everything in freeroam like bitches

 

The "Armed Robbery and other Assorted Crimes" DLC

 

You can now set up a robbery mission in freeroam as a VIP, MC President, or CEO and if you are the CEO/VIP/MC Prez then you split the take how you want it split using the scope out board

 

Robbery targets are Fleeca Banks around the state and the Paleto Bay Bank.

The way it works is

 

You can pay to have intel collected on the bank to get you a clean getaway of your choice and better layout of the target plus more chance of getting more money (sort of like fast tracking but in terms of 10K to 20K) A contact will get you vehicles to use that you might have to return or not.

 

You can pay other players in the session to gain a certain amount of stars and distract the cops for you. If you accept that from the job list from a CEO/VIP/MC Prez then you will be tasked with something such as destroying three vehicles or setting off tear gas bombs in crowded areas or just attacking cops en route to that org's scene. The CEO/VIP/MC Prez will pay you out of his take from the freemode robbery mission.

 

The CEO/VIP/MC Prez can choose to do it without planning but will get less money in return then they would have had they collected intel (think of it as paying to upgrade your cars to high end mods in import export sale missions)

 

So heres some different examples of scenarios that I've thought up

 

I'm in an MC with 4 other of my friends and we're short on cash and need some quick. I got about 100K so I go to my clubhouse and look on the map. I activate the new "scope out" feature and take a look at all targets and decide to hit the Fleeca Bank on Route 68. I can choose to pay 15,000 for intel that will take 15 minutes but I choose to just hit the bank with what we got. The game prompts me to put on a mask once we roll up there with our bikes and one guy stands outside guarding the door (No set roles, I had to tell him to be lookout) One guy on top of the LSC across the street as another lookout, two of us on crowd control while the guy back there does either a hacking minigame or safe cracking mini game. Since I didn't get intel we get less of a chance for the random multiplier of 1.01 to 1.25 to hit higher than 1.10 (Money can be multiplied greatly if you choose to grab intel) We also get more cops, and by the time the duffel bag is filled if he gets shot he loses money. If you die in this your take goes down to pay for medical bills and bribes. The cops are kinda op but good teamwork can get you out of it easily.

We get out of it but lose a bit of cash. We receive our payment once we safely get back to a bunker or clubhouse or anyone in the mc safehouse

 

I'm a CEO and I've decided to start up a robbery mission at the Lombank in Rockford Hills. I gathered intel and was able to find room to park 4 oppressors (unarmed) at a parking lot nearby.

 

We walk in and keep intimidation up while someone hacks the vault and when it opens we fill the duffel bags with money that amounts to 500K (pays to collect intel!) and we get on our oppressors and drive off.

 

Keep in mind there is a cooldown and you will always get five stars for one of these.

Also other players can come after you and if they kill you whoever got killed loses their take and has to wait until the end of the robbery mission to be able to freeroam again. The player who comes after you can collect a take but if they choose to keep it for themselves rather than turn it to the nearest police station they will get 5 stars and will lose that take as to where noone can get it.

 

Lets say the takes are 25 each for a VIP who decided to rob a Fleeca right?

 

Random player kills one of their bodyguards and picks up a quarter of their 250K take...

 

Clicks no on the ingame prompt of choosing to take the 62,500 to the cops but cant find a car and gets shot

Well now that money is gone and noone at all can pick it up..

 

Rewind time and lets say he turns it in

That player gets 10% of what it was as reward with no cops.

6,250 without a wanted level and all he had to do was gun down a guy and grab his bag.

 

The money you get from these robbery missions scales from 100K to 500K

 

Only certain maps get the scope out feature though such as

 

-High End Apartments

-Clubhouses (Available as an upgrade on Maze Bank Foreclosures)

-Offices (Available as an upgrade on Dynasty 8 Executive)

-Bunkers (Available as an upgrade on Maze Bank Foreclosures)

-Yachts (Available as an upgrade on DockTease)

-MOCs (Available as an upgrade on Warstock)

 

For clubhouses it'll make use of the clubhouse contract room but function it as an upgrade and essentially revamp it

For offices it'll make the meeting room bigger and use space from unused rooms

For bunkers it'll make use of unused rooms

For yachts it'll go into that unused space in the yacht that is there in every other yacht

For MOCs it counts as a trailer so be prepared to either upgrade your command center or replace your command center with a scope out center (Replacing a command center costs less and it is pretty hefty to combine a command center with the scope out center)

 

It won't only be banks you'll be able to rob. This update will open up new interiors for pawn shops and you'll be able to sneak into backrooms by using a new distraction feature and gameplay mechanic (functions like intimidation)

 

You'll also be able to burglarize houses and carry valuables down to trucks and vans

and there will be assassination missions with these two with a contact paying you on your performance (glorified
Headhunter)

 

Back to the cooldown, after completion of a successful robbery mission you cannot do another one for an hour and after a failed one (everybody died) you have to wait 30 minutes

 

New properties were added however...

Custom interiors from Executives and Other Criminals now applicable for other high end apartment buildings. New properties with new interiors in Del Perro, all new interiors for houses (6 car garage) available in Mirror Park.

 

New adversary modes:

Tagged: For up to 10 players

Group up against whos it... They cant find you but you cant see them. If you're shot with the double barrel shotgun you become it. You must hunt down if you're it and hide if you're not

Infected: For up to 12 players

 

You start off with one on the infected team. If that infected player finds you and kills you then you respawn as infected. You must go on until theres one left. The people who kept from being infected are the winners but if everyone becomes infected that the infected are the winners. (payouts depend on how long you were infected and how many ppl you switched)

Off-road vehicle - redneck dlc, a proper military dlc or gunrunning part 2, muscle car - dragsters dlc, hot/rat rods dlc and I guess heists part 2 with casinos, mansions and stock market included.

ceo racketeering dlc update: I wanted it to have a title like adventures in finance and felony except I couldn't think of it.

 

i had similar ideas for a nightlife club running dlc because i noticed that all these dlc's we've been getting were inspired by past gta games but reconceptualized for example lowriders was inspired by san andreas , bikers was inspired by lost and damned etc. and ceo cargo runs had a vice city stories feel almost. well i was playing vice city stories and i though why not have an update that adds rackets to ceo or bikers . the update would feature contact missions based for the rackets you choose to run like protection, robbery, prostitution, drugs, smuggling, etc.

also like vice city stories. you can raid a property kill all the enemy npc occupants, destroy their supplies then renovate and choose which racket you want to start and the size of the building and when it is complete npc goons that work for you will spawn there and you can recruit them. nextyou can start missions from them for example if you do a protection racket you can go to a shop kill the bikers , gangsters etc. scare the store owner by destroying his goods then receive kickbacks. the update would have pvp elements (sorry guys that the way the gta world now)

 

also featured would be:

 

clothes inspired by vice city stories (leisure suit , hired gun, robber etc)

 

vehicles(little willie , 6 wheel vehicle , cholo stallion or banshee sorry i'm not good with vehicle names i haven't played vice city stories that much)

 

i can't think of any weapons because gta online seems to have all the weapons featured in vice city stories. that pretty much it.

A Western Bandit DLC could be fun but would only really work in the desert/sandy/mountain areas

 

-Sombreros with different/colours/patterns on them

-New bandanas and face masks you can wear on their own as well as with a hat (why this isn't a feature already instead of having to glitch it is beyond me)

-New revolvers with different amounts of firepower and etchings and colours (similar to the carbine rifle and the special carbine sort of thing)

-Clothes such as shirts/trousers/ponchos (with different materials/colours/patterns) and boots to fit with the desert theme

-the ability to purchase the Tornado that has the guitars on the back seat

 

But knowing R* this will never happen, but we can hope!

Now I don't think anything like this would ever happen but I've written it as to sound like something Rockstar could do. Here we go:

 

GTA Online: Back to Basics Update
New Vehicles:
.DF8-90, Chavos, Hakumai/Hakumai (Custom), Freeway, Perennial, Reefer
Drip Content:
.Hunter, Super GT/Super GT (Custom), Rustler, Liberty City Taxi,
.Several update vehicles have been added to the AI traffic.
.Ambiant air traffic including commercial jets and blimps now fly about the world. (All spawn with locked doors)
.Ambiant sea traffic including Tug's, Reefers and Marquis's now sail shorelines.
.The Cable Cars have been added to Mt. Chiliad. (Now indistructable)
.Players can now store certain police vehicles in private garages.
Weapons:
.Pistol .44 (GTA-TBoGT)
.Hunting Rifle (GTA4 Sniper Rifle)
.Flash Bang Grenades
.Duel Wield several one handed guns such as the pistol, micro SMG and machine pistol.

.The online prop limit has been increased to close levels to that of GTAV story mode.

.Briefcases filled with $5000>20,000 have been scattered around the map in unique locations. (Respawn every 45 minuets).
.30 brand new hidden packages have been scattered around the world. Collect them all to recieve a huge one off cash reward and special t-shirt, obviously. (Packages are those as in GTA-LCS).
Features:
.Players can now sell Pegasus vehicles, weapons (excluding Mk2) and properties such as apartments and offices via Crapslist.net.
.Purchase Scuba Gear from the gear section of Ammu-Nation. (Or obtain from a Dinghy or Submarine)
.Hunting activity added for single or competitive sport.
.New houses located in Strawberry and Davis (4) for the cheap gang land lifestyle.
.Purchase a Slip (2) located at the LS Marina to store Pegausu watercraft. (Excluding Tug)
.Purchase NOS upgrades for vehicles from LS Customs. Comes in 3 levels of use. (Use the GTA Race boost powerup)
.Heist like cut payouts for CEO associates set through the office computer.
.Photograph all monkey mossaics to unlock the Go Go Monkey Balista.
.Play CUB3ED at available acrcade machines or in CEO Offices.
.Street food vendors now sell product to recover health. First aid kits appear at all hospitals.
.Silence your phone via the settings menu to block all contact calls.
.Players can now choose to spawn at the neerest hospital when killed via the interaction menu.
.Added the option to exit to roof from select apartments.
.The Story Mode Flight School Lessons have been added to Online as a starter course.
.The BUSTED system from previous games has been added to GTA Online. At 1>2 stars police will attempt to arrest a player. Once caught and after release a player will be let go from the nearest police station and be charged a bail fee, find their vehicle impounded and any weapons set on their wheel confiscated. Bribe the police outside the station to recover your weapons, or simply purchase new ones.
Change Log:
.The Hydra now only spawns at runways and has a 5 minuet call cooldown period.
.The armour on the Rhino and Savage has been buffed.
.Contact mission payouts have been buffed and payouts are now calculated on how fast a mission can be completed.
.Clothing stores have been streamlined for ease of shopping. Clothing has been segregated by style, with high end designer wear only available in Perseus, street wear only available in SubUrban and jewellery only available in Vangelico etc. Drop lists have been completely re-organised.
.Passive mode now has a 5 minuet cooldown after de-activation.
.Passive mode can no longer be entered inside ANY armed/armoured vehicle. It can now be entered however inside any unarmed aircraft.
.Players in Bad Sport lobby's will find all of their personnel vehicles replaced with Clown Vans for the duration within Bad Sport.
.Players gamer names will now not appear above their heads when wearing a full faced mask or helmet.
.All player blips have been removed from the radar. Blips will only appear if; they are in your cone of sight, are firing an un-suppressed weapon near by or a revile players has been used.
.Voice chat now only works within a radius of your character. Phone players to talk long distances.
.Players are no longer informed when a cargo/biker/gun running shipment are collected or transported, unless half of the mission time limit has passed.
.Throwable capacity has been reduced. Grenades=5 Sticky Bombs=5 Proximity Mines=5 Tear Gas=10 Pipe Bombs=5 Molotovs=5
.Heavy Explosives have been reduced. RPG=5 Homing Launcher=5 Launched Grenades=10 Fireworks=20
.Ammo can no longer be purchased via the interaction menu.
.Players can now customise weapon loadouts at Heist planning rooms in High End Apartments.
.The missing Free Roam activities such as armoured vans, crate drops and target vehicles make a return.
.Insurance charges have been removed from Special and Weaponized personel vehicles.
.Slightly increased the deformation effects of vehicles.
.WASTED/BUSTED now display when killed/arrested.
Plus many bug and exploit fixes.

DLC CONCEPT:

 

"Players bought the game day 1, and even after the delayed release of Online still couldn't play for a week-to a month, here's to you Update"

 

An update where those of us who got the game and tried to play when Online was released get a billion dollars for still playing this game years later and for having to deal with R* incompetence.

.Players can now store certain police vehicles in private garages.

.Pistol .44 (GTA-TBoGT)

.Hunting Rifle (GTA4 Sniper Rifle)

.Flash Bang Grenades

.Duel Wield several one handed guns such as the pistol, micro SMG and machine pistol.

 

World:

.The online prop limit has been increased to close levels to that of GTAV story mode.

.Ambiant animals now roam the world including dangerous beasts such as cougers and sharks.

.Many building interiors have been opened including the Foundary, Life Invader and Bahama Mamas West.

.Small corona's have been added outside all contact residences to bring up a list of contact missions and versus missions. Blips also show on the radar.

.The Aircraft Carrier has been added off the coast of the LS Docks with military vehicles available on deck.

.Briefcases filled with $5000>20,000 have been scattered around the map in unique locations. (Respawn every 45 minuets).

.30 brand new hidden packages have been scattered around the world. Collect them all to recieve a huge one off cash reward and special t-shirt, obviously. (Packages are those as in GTA-LCS).

 

Features:

.Players can now sell Pegasus vehicles, weapons (excluding Mk2) and properties such as apartments and offices via Crapslist.net.

.Purchase Scuba Gear from the gear section of Ammu-Nation. (Or obtain from a Dinghy or Submarine)

.Hunting activity added for single or competitive sport.

.New houses located in Strawberry and Davis (4) for the cheap gang land lifestyle.

.Purchase a Slip (2) located at the LS Marina to store Pegausu watercraft. (Excluding Tug)

.Purchase NOS upgrades for vehicles from LS Customs. Comes in 3 levels of use. (Use the GTA Race boost powerup)

.Heist like cut payouts for CEO associates set through the office computer.

.Photograph all monkey mossaics to unlock the Go Go Monkey Balista.

.Play CUB3ED at available acrcade machines or in CEO Offices.

.Street food vendors now sell product to recover health. First aid kits appear at all hospitals.

.Silence your phone via the settings menu to block all contact calls.

.Players can now choose to spawn at the neerest hospital when killed via the interaction menu.

.Added the option to exit to roof from select apartments.

.The Story Mode Flight School Lessons have been added to Online as a starter course.

.The BUSTED system from previous games has been added to GTA Online. At 1>2 stars police will attempt to arrest a player. Once caught and after release a player will be let go from the nearest police station and be charged a bail fee, find their vehicle impounded and any weapons set on their wheel confiscated. Bribe the police outside the station to recover your weapons, or simply purchase new ones.

 

Change Log:

.The Hydra now only spawns at runways and has a 5 minuet call cooldown period.

.The armour on the Rhino and Savage has been buffed.

.Contact mission payouts have been buffed and payouts are now calculated on how fast a mission can be completed.

.Clothing stores have been streamlined for ease of shopping. Clothing has been segregated by style, with high end designer wear only available in Perseus, street wear only available in SubUrban and jewellery only available in Vangelico etc. Drop lists have been completely re-organised.

.Passive mode now has a 5 minuet cooldown after de-activation.

.Passive mode can no longer be entered inside ANY armed/armoured vehicle. It can now be entered however inside any unarmed aircraft.

.Players in Bad Sport lobby's will find all of their personnel vehicles replaced with Clown Vans for the duration within Bad Sport.

.Players gamer names will now not appear above their heads when wearing a full faced mask or helmet.

.All player blips have been removed from the radar. Blips will only appear if; they are in your cone of sight, are firing an un-suppressed weapon near by or a revile players has been used.

.Voice chat now only works within a radius of your character. Phone players to talk long distances.

.Players are no longer informed when a cargo/biker/gun running shipment are collected or transported, unless half of the mission time limit has passed.

.Throwable capacity has been reduced. Grenades=5 Sticky Bombs=5 Proximity Mines=5 Tear Gas=10 Pipe Bombs=5 Molotovs=5

.Heavy Explosives have been reduced. RPG=5 Homing Launcher=5 Launched Grenades=10 Fireworks=20

.Ammo can no longer be purchased via the interaction menu.

.Players can now customise weapon loadouts at Heist planning rooms in High End Apartments.

.The missing Free Roam activities such as armoured vans, crate drops and target vehicles make a return.

.Insurance charges have been removed from Special and Weaponized personel vehicles.

.Slightly increased the deformation effects of vehicles.

.WASTED/BUSTED now display when killed/arrested.

 

Plus many bug and exploit fixes.

 

 

About 60% of that seems VERY doable and has logic behind it. 30% just won't happen due to tech restraints and coding. 10% won't happen just because it is taking a couple steps backward.

 

Overall the concept is strong.

Sadly I think you may be correct. (Sadly for me and my perfect version of GTAO, not necessarily anyone else's vision of the game). I am curious as to what you think the 30% and 10%'s would be. I have a vague idea.

I remember this picture. They should the civilian versions in the game as well, and also allow us to maybe make any car into a cop car. Why not a Cops n' Crooks mode, like the one from IV?

 

So many good ideas, and Rockstar instead gives us sh*t like Gunrunning. What the f*ck are they doing? lol

They could sell cars with bullet holes and blood on them from drug shoot outs and cars from cop lock ups lol.

It's been 2 years now since Ill Gotten Gains so I think it'd be nice to see another update with nice high-end clothes, just with less supers this time and instead some sports classics and muscle cars. Maybe mansions too.

large melee weapons, one-handed and two-handed

historical weapons like a few generic European swords, a German zweihänder, a Nordic baselard, a Roman gladius, a Greek xiphos, a Japanese katana, a Chinese dadao, a falchion, a saber, a cutlass, a scimitar, a few maces, war axes, war hammers, polearms, etc.

 

and a few modern and traditional tools like a sledgehammer, cricket bat, pickaxe, shovel, scythe, monkey wrench, tennis racquet, etc

 

will probably need to add them to a new shop of just all the melee weapons

 

also might be preferable to split the melee weapons slot on the weapons wheel into a slot for small melee and a slot for large melee

Yeah, that s*cks. We've got tons of masks, T-shirts, and other cosmetic stuff... but 0 wheels to LS Customs since 2013.

 

After Gunrunning update I think Import/Export could be different. It would be cool if they added a Research system to unlock special items such Rims, decals, headlight colors and if possible, new spoilers, bumpers, skirts...

 

Maybe with Import/Export Part 2 they could offer an upgrade to the warehouse with:

 

- Research: hire specialists to develop new content to all modified vehicles and specific upgrades to the current Special Vehicles. Once unlocked, just take the car to your warehouse and intall the new items at the local body shop.

- Security: add cameras to warehouse and see who is planting proximity mines close to your door.

- Source vehicle: new cars and high end bikes available during Import/Export missions; during certain missions you would have to use a tow truck; hack a new electric car

- Export: certain vehicle collections are delivered using vehicles such Wastelander, car carrier trailer, Benson, or even a Titan...
