Is there a way to solve the cigarette card bug? (Console platform)

I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with this bug in particular. Let me explain briefly: after completing the cigarette card side mission (smoking and other hobbies) by collecting all 144 cards, when you pick up one cigarette card, the whole side mission will re-activate and the game will recognize this mission as unfinished. This is extremely annoying. I accidentally picked up a card and I had to reload the save game. I lost 10+ perfect pelts. I should have saved more frequently but damn, this bug is very annoying. 

 

Is there a way to somehow eliminate this bug? Rockstar will never fix this so that's not an option. Using mods isn't an option either because I'm on console. Using save editor also isn't an option because I'm on Xbox Series and thank to some genius at Microsoft, I do not have access to my OWN save data. It's all in the cloud.

Save up and buy a decently beefy PC. I was on Xbox One since 2013. Bought an old fatty on day one, then bought an X1X in 2019. Sold off my X1X last year and bought an ASUS G14. Been a PC master race member ever since. Given, PC isn't completely free of issues. But we actually have the freedom to mod and access save data. That's all consoles are doing now: limiting their players' freedoms. PS5 is challenging enough, but Xbox has been a circus act since the 360.
