Question about bonus content in unpatched 1.0 (PS4)

So I’ve seen that it’s possible to get the returning player and Social Club bonus content by saving the game on the current patch, deleting and reinstalling the game offline, and then loading the save from the current version on version 1.0. I have a few questions about this. 
 

1) first of all, is this true? Usually saves on  new patches are not compatible with version 1.0, right? I know that’s the case for RDR2, because everyone says if reverting to 1.0, you have to restart your game because the save won’t be compatible. Is that not the case for GTAV? Won’t the game run into bugs and glitches if you load a save that was made on the current patch, on the unpatched game?

 

2) would this still work for players that didn’t originally have the returning player content, but only have access to it now because of the recent-ish patch that made it available to all players? I had the PS3 version under a different PSN account, so the returning player bonus wouldn’t be specifically tied to my psn account. It would only be available because it is for everyone on the current patch. So would I still be able to save on latest patch, reinstall offline, and load on 1.0?

 

3) since the game settings stay the same between different save files, would the bonus content also in this case? In other words if I load into a save from latest patch on the unpatched version, could I then go to “new game” in the pause menu and start a new game that has the bonus content also?

4) are there any game-breaking bugs on PS4 version 1.0, or any bugs which make 100% completion impossible? And would loading into a save file made on the latest patch exasperate these bugs or their potential to show up?
