5. If you're playing on PC, 99% of the lobbies you'll find a Chinese bot spamming the chat (HUKL mainly).

11. If you blow up cargo from other players, you have forfeited any right of staying in a session in peace and away from any harm.

 

12. Combat in GTA is toxic and fighting fair is pointless, do not hesitate to use any kind of features to kill your targets before they kill you.

 

13. Racing in GTA is dirty and racing cleanly is pointless, be aggressive and the first one to ram the other player, or learn how to race defensively and get a read on when your opponent will ram you so you can act accordingly, but never, EVER, give any racer around you the benefit of doubt.

14. During missions, NPC traffic is out to get you this is a fact. Dread it, run from it, random heat seeking station wagon will find you.

15.  Expect most randumbs to waste time finding the worst looking outfit during heists/setups, only to die within the first few mins.

17. Always drive up to random players honking your horn as loud as possible. Don't message them first. They will welcome your outward friendliness with glee and NEVER shoot you in the face :D.

GTA online is a "you get what you pay for" game, from business locations to trying to lowball somebody out of a heist cut after they helped you do every setup. Seriously, what did you think was gonna happen?

Thinking "man, wouldn't it be nice if Rockstar added _______ to the game?", and then expecting it to ever happen is a fast lane to disappointment.

 

(also applies to Red Dead Online - just fill the blank with the word "ANYTHING"... :p)

22. If you tell a godmode player that you know he is in godmode he will tell you "I'm just better than you."

 

23. Every lobby will have that one player who boasts about how good at PvP he is and who runs around griefing people only to get ripped to shreds by someone who is "bad" at PvP.

 

24. If you fly around in a stealthed akula someone will call you a "modder".
