GTA V Gen9 / "E&E" PC Discussion - Coming 4th March 2025

There's no reason for R* to announce the PC version or a PC upgrade for one of their games at a Sony event. The only reason it happened for the original release was because of the PS5.

 

There likely won't be much fanfare around this announcement, it's an upgrade to the PC version of an existing game. One or two Newswires, potentially a shiny graphics trailer or screenshots is the most I'm expecting.

I think Rockstar Will make a newswire or two and maybe a 30 sec trailer...

I don't think it Will appear at Sony because it's a PC release, not console...

Hopefully we get info after the T2 thing tomorrow...

Sony event for GT7 pc release when? Just don't believe the cancellation rumor and everything is good with txr reboot and ac evo.

Any day in Feb for pc e and e announcement the, release either in March or April 2025 and then GTA IV Double 11 port for current consoles and pc again like RDR 1 in 64 bit and dx12 api support.

Wonder when are we getting Vulkan natively in any Rockstar title besides RDR 2?

I really hope the PC port is indeed in works, because most of the modern racing games suck ass or can't provide the same stuff Gran Turismo does

Go for Tokyo Xtreme Racer reboot on Steam for now with mods even from Silent, the Day and Night cycle mod and also no new nfs for atleast few years.

Also Assetto Corsa Evo or the first Assetto Corsa with Content Manager for mods. Project Cars 2 from somewhere if its not on Steam.

Got the TXR the day it released and completed it in the span of three days, looking forward to complete the next chapters when they get released ^^

I guess this car would need a good overhaul, the Elegy RH8. The car lacks some aspects that could approach him more to its real life counterpart, but it's not that the car is not good looking, but it lacks a lot of customization that falls victim of being a 2013 car model. Some liveries would make that car really stand out.

Will we get news on GTA5 E&E today? I guess not likely, as it occurs to me that they could announce it in mid-March and release it in April for the 10th anniversary of PC.

GTA+ event ends on Tuesday, March 4. It could be PC Gen9, or the new Oscar drip-feed release.

Definitely Oscar Guzman missions with its own set of vehicles, property

The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid was released on a Thursday. So it would be a bit odd to see them drop Oscar Guzman strand on a Tuesday, but it's possible.

Aren't there the assets of Oscar Gunzman update already in the game? The only thing missing would be the missions from Rockstar's servers. 

So i think a Thursday release is not out of ordinary considering what happened last year with Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid.

Makes sense if it's V Gen9 PC, they likely want a bit of buffer between that and the Part 2 of the DLC to fix any issues etc. Big TU's or new versions usually drop on Tuesdays, so...

This might mean nothing, but Gunrunner is one of the four criminal careers, a Gen9 feature/thing. The timing seems a bit odd, unless the February 27 event is going to offer bonuses for all criminal careers in preparation for PC Gen9, with GTA+ members receiving 4x rewards due to the event bonus stacking.

 March 4th is on the table as a possible release as GTA+ benefits ends that Tuesday...and Rockstar releases this types of stuff on a Tuesday...

March 3 and 4 we have holidays in My country, so it Will be perfect for me  but it's too early to call still...i don't think they Will release both things togheter (E&E and the new missions) hopefully E&E first on a Tuesday and then on a Thursday they release the Guzmán missions...

If they release E&E on March 4th, then with less than a month to go, is there a chance we could get news this week? Also if March 4th is just the new hangar assets, I think it could be Rockstar's decision to treat it as a spring DLC this year.

announcement next tuesday the 11th? RDR for pc was announced 3 weeks before aswell

As I've speculated I don't think this needs that much fanfare, as it'll be mostly the same features and upgrades as the current PS5/Xbox Series versions plus some additional PC graphics settings, controls and hopefully PC QoL improvements, so about a month to 3 weeks sounds more than enough to market it to me.
