I didn’t pay a penny for GTAO on my PS5. Sure they wanted some money for the story mode but why the f*ck would I buy that when I’ve already bought it 3 times which is dumb enough on my part already. 
 

Completed it on two consoles already and they were both identical games. I ignore it on PC since I’m more than aware of what happens.

I can't imagine PC won't get the E&E content (and upgrade) this summer, but there has also been no confirmation/mention or anything. It kind of makes me nervous

Since this update is coming out for all platforms it's very unlikely. Maybe in winter they'll release bigger update exclusive for e&e and bring it to pc along.

Considering that E&E also introduces GTA+ (more or less), I suspect it has some priority

Anyway, unfortunately I'm starting to think we may only get a proper update once R* drops support for the old consoles, which could be during the Winter only. A bit of a shame but honestly I'd rather they test and optimise a PC version properly than rush it, although I did think they'd be more ready for it now. I guess it was a console focused upgrade update.

Your comment complaining about what someone noticed and throwing out that we are getting it in December is pretty random. In fact I think we are going to get it on August 3 because 8-3 = 5 and 2022/5 = 404.4 and 404 is a special code meaning not found thus resulting in it being unknown.

There is nothing random about my comment, it's just common sense. Everybody who read the entire Newswire article, should know we won't get "E&E" this summer for PC.

 

That reddit dude, thinks a reflection in a promo shot has a meaning, even tho it has no meaning.

Well for now I'd say wait till we have 100% certainty with the Patch Notes on Tuesday.

 

That said, that fact that Rockstar mentioned nothing about E&E/Hao's Special Works or (the for them more important) GTA+ for PC in the newswire, does not give me much hope that it is coming this Tuesday, or they'd have to release a news post today or Monday, but that already feels like it is too late, one would expect a little more time and hype for it, especially how actively they're trying to sell GTA+ on the consoles, this isn't something you "stealth" patch in an not mention.

 

Mexicola is probably right that it will probably be at least till the Winter DLC, if not later, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised that the console makers bought some timed exclusivity on it to sell more consoles, regardless of scarcity, and they don't tend to buy timed exclusivity rights for just 4 months.

There seem to be differences between the reflections in interiors and in exteriors in "E&E", makes me wonder if reflections aren't ray traced to some extent in interiors, which would be a lot lighter than making them so in the open world. That said, even the regular reflections on PC are already pretty good in the Autoshop, but I don't think they reflect particle effects.

QoL improvements are nice, but I'm sure it won't be the selling point of the December update.
