Tbh not surprising considering the PC was allways treated like the stepchild. They know they couldnt make money out of E&E and GTA+ on PC so why bother. At this point I honestly wouldnt be surprised if PC support gets dropped along with PS4 and XBox One.

There is a possibility. But would likely only happen once PS4 & Xbox One support is abandoned. And there's a high chance of that with the December update.

It's honestly stupid but I feel like Rockstar mainly just wanted to cash in on people buying the new consoles. What better incentive than exclusive content? They're really that sleazy. I don't think they'd drop PC. Their excuse for dropping XB1 and PS4 support is simple, limitations. PC though? Several people have computers that run this game far better than any of the new consoles or just as good (mine included) so they couldn't use the limitations excuse. It definitely would be met with outrage. Only way I could see them doing it is as a big f*ck you to modders like me (when the real problem is online modders).

Cut me some slack bro.

The have been teasing that sh*t with "for next gen consoles and PC" for how long? All of the sudden the PC in the announcements gets dropped, stuff releases on new consoles and not even a peep from R* about when or even if PC gets it. Months later we get some empty placeholder files and again no info.

Now, again months later we get a new dlc and still jack sh*t of info regarding the E&E stuff.

Heck I dont even give a f*ck about most of the stuff, all I want is the new Cyclone and the new Ignus.

 

It just feels like such a pointless thing to do from R*s side. My 10 year old PC can run f*cking Star Citizen (despite being well below the min system requirements lol) it can sure as hell run gta 5 with some slightly improoved textures and new effects, so whats the holdup.

 

And it kinda feels like your getting abandoned when your getting an update that sorta closes off old gen by fixing some stuff the community wanted fixed and the only thing R* does in tegards to PC is run after some poor singleplayer content modder to sue him. All while some jacka$$ in freemode can just easily grab your IP and tell you "I know where you live" (granted its only the city, but thats enough in a small place with mostly old farts).

 

Yeah its unlikely they will completely drop PC, considering they probably plan on selling GTA 6 there in the next few years, so pissing of folks on PC might not be a good idea.

 

Sorry folks, all this HSW this and new gen console exclusive content that and no info when or even if PC will get it just leaves me a little pissed off. Rant is over now.

To them you're not the target audience it seems, or they realized the console players are more prone to shark card purchases given there is arguably more kids on consoles than on PC.

0xAA29A58E = HDR CALIBRATION
0xF8913A34 = Adjust the brightness of paper white surfaces, like the car's body.
0x24BA3EF6 = Increase the peak brightness to see details in the clouds.
0x24BB9B24 = Standard Range
0x4E080762 = Performance RT
0xD021F21C = Fidelity

 

And probably more, just the ones I remembered. There's more "E&E" stuff in the code this time again.

I wonder how Rockstar is deploying updates for the PC version? You got this here, but no entities about GTA+ or the Hao trial races. Quite weird, isn't it? Unless they're going into the global.gxt2 file and manually taking things out anything relating to E&E.

i was playing around with the dripfeed vehicles in sp, and my mod menu recognized the cyclone 2, s95 and all the other gen9 exclusive cars as being in the game, of course when i spawn them in the game crashes but this is pretty cool as i didnt notice this before

Little odd why GTA+ is appearing on the RGL. Got to be a mistake, right? I find it even more odd the fact the subtitle isn't from the newswire. Someone has manually added this in.

Maybe with the new Vigero?

I mean its first "new" car that can also get the HSW mods that has been added on PC.

Wildbrick also said something about a something new that is intended to block the gen 9 content on old gen:

"however they also added new files that check and ensure gen9 content stays gen9 exclusive"

Maybe thats related somehow.

could be, i mean, its rather soon to add that screen to the rsgl if we would be getting E&E in 5 months or so

also, there are gta+ clothes in the game on pc.. they can be "unlocked" but cant be seen anywhere.

IMHO E&E for PC will come sooner rather than later before the December DLC, why is it that R* has been adding so much E&E data on PC since May 17th, further proof of this is the GTA+ announcement appearing in the RGL .

Perhaps R* is having some difficulties porting E&E content to PC because of the company's new work policies.

They probably got some deal with Microsoft and SONY, and that is why we didn't get E&E yet. I don't think we get it before December 2022 or March 2023.

 

And i start to get the feeling, that we really have to pay for it on PC, and we won't get it for free.
