GTA V single player process halted, no random encounters, no business calls, no text messages, etc.

Hey everyone, I'm new around here and in fact I joined the forums for help, in case anyone has found a way to solve this bug that I think has been around since the 360/PS3 days.

So after a while I'm finally getting back to playing the single player in GTA V and trying to get 100% completion. After some time I was able to complete a street race in single player without the game crashing only to find out that the text message that unlocks the next race never arrives. This seems to be related to another issue in which calls from purchased businesses like the cab service never seem to happen anymore or the fact that random encounters seem all to have gone missing, halting essentially all progress. All this stuff is needed for 100% completion and Rockstar support have been their usual useless selves. Is there any real solution to this problem? Because I sure as hell really don't have the time to play this game again for the third time, let alone getting back to 90% completion, even less so knowing that the bug might appear again without notice.
