His stakes in the film and nightclub industries turned really profitable such that Tommy became a prominent figure in Vinewood. These ventures made him look fairly legitimate too which shielded him from heat. He even managed to get himself a family, his wife is his bedrock, his daughter went Ivy League and his son looks set to take over the family business. Tommy has done it all. Almost. In his twilight years, Tommy spends his days in the Carribbean relaxing mostly but before the arthritis sets in, he wants to surmount the insurmountable obstacle in his life. And so Tommy spends an hour everyday in his private estate learning how to swim. I'd imagine he also helps out the city monetarily by paying for different projects or programs. And he probably split up the gang when he was about 60 or 65. Not that he was paranoid per se, just out of fear that a Lance Vance type would take advantage of his golden years. I imagine that Jason and Lucia will soon take that role in GTA VI. Besides, aren't all the 3D universe characters dead? Something about that in GTA IV I think. This is what I organically hope for. I think he'd be the type to eventually chill and know when to stop but have like a corelone type of notoriety. Sucks he cut Ken off but Ken was a hot mess that needed to be cut off and hopefully he would be clean and living a straight life by the golden years.
