PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series X | S

Improvements 

• A ‘Motion Blur’ option slider has been added

Matchmaking & Networking 

• Fixed an issue that caused the Story Mode to GTA Online transition to take a prolonged amount of time

Adaptive Triggers (PS5) 

• Fixed an issue that caused the adaptive trigger feedback on the Hao’s Special Works upgraded Grotti Turismo Classic to be too strong

Xbox Series X|S 

• Fixed an issue that resulted in players being stuck on an alert screen after using Quick Resume on Xbox
• Fixed audio issues that occurred in game after opening the Xbox guide
• Fixed an issue that resulted in players having no game audio while in an Xbox party
• Fixed an issue that caused radio audio to not be present on Xbox

Content 

• Fixed an issue that resulted in players experiencing several missing sound effects during large player Deathmatches
• Fixed several issues where blocked players could still view and interact with the blocking players UGC (User Generated Content) content
• Fixed an issue that caused Parachute Jobs to be missing from the Jobs menu

Story Mode 

• Fixed an issue that resulted in players being incorrectly given the option to ‘Resume Story’ despite not owning Story Mode
• Fixed an issue that caused GTA Online friends to display as contacts in players’ phones in Story Mode
• Fixed an issue that caused character switching in Story Mode to take a prolonged amount of time

Miscellaneous 

• Fixed an issue that caused a significant drop in frame rate after selecting a neon interior for your vehicle while having Chameleon paint applied
• Fixed an issue that caused the Japanese translation of the word “Overwrite” to not be accurate on the character migration screen
• Fixed an issue that caused players to get stuck when trying to enter GTA Online with an existing character on a new console
• Fixed an issue that resulted in players incorrectly receiving the alert “You have been banned from using Social Club Services and are not permitted to enter Grand Theft Auto permanently.”
• Fixed an issue that resulted in players receiving the alert “Error in Content Enumeration” when trying to create a second character
• Fixed an issue that caused the ‘Patriot’ parachute smoke to appear as black instead of the intended red, white and blue
• Fixed audio issues that occurred in game after calling Mors Mutual
• Fixed audio issues that were present when entering The Diamond Casino & Resort

• Fixed an issue that resulted in players getting stuck on the Rockstar logo screen when booting the game

• Fixed an issue that caused the prompt to crack the safe to be missing in Last Play – Make Ends Meat
• Fixed an issue that caused players to get stuck after completing the Race in the GTA Online Tutorial
• Fixed an issue that resulted in players getting stuck in the lobby after accepting a Gerald Mission invite
• Fixed an issue that resulted in players not receiving phone invitations to Jobs

• Fixed missing text and button prompts in Director Mode

• Fixed an issue that resulted in players progress not saving in GTA Online

• Fixed an issue that caused the Daily Vehicle List to not correctly count successfully delivered vehicles
• Fixed an issue that caused players’ weapons to disappear in the Shooting Range

• Fixed an issue that resulted in players getting stuck on a black screen when attempting to migrate a character from a previous generation console to a next generation console

Despite Rockstar acknowledging the phone contacts bug being a problem on the X/S version, they've not fixed it in this update

Well my game has derailed as it seems, I can't launch it, this is new to me. As it goes after every update I remove the ASI loader to play Online, only this time I just can't even boot up SP. Verified intergity and all that...

Guess I'll take a break from V.

Nope, still slow.

 

A new bug: If you have set your Arcade as your spawn point, it appears that your Casino Heist progress has reset (your three little helpers + getawat vehicles are missing). It hasn't reset. Leave the Arcade and re-enter and it is back to where you left it. Using your Arcade as the spawn point also results in your character to spawn standing inside the bed in the basement, or standing on top of the couch by the tv on the Arcade floor.

 

Another bug: Nightclub popularity seems to have been reset to an older version, where you need to do more missions to get the popularity back up.

Still no safezone slider on the ps5

bookmarked jobs and playlists are completely broken now (at least on PS5)

 

All bookmarked jobs have been removed from bookmarks.

 

Clicking on 'My Playlists' in the pause menu produces this alert:

 

Trying to create a new playlist produces this alert:

 

You can't try to delete playlists to see if that helps because you can't see any of your playlists to delete as a result of the first alert.

 

Finally, all recently played jobs have been reset as well:

 

 

You can still access jobs that you've created and that're R* created, that's it though. Nice one Rockstar.

The "relaxed" riding style is not working anymore when in an MC, at least for me on PS4. A minor bug I know, but still a bug I guess?

 

Anybody else on PS4 jump on a motorcycle, start an MC, open the interaction menu, go to Motorcycle Club President, Manage MC and then put Riding style to Relaxed and go for a ride.

 

Let me know if it triggers or not for anyone else, thx.

My Casino heist getaway vehicles(Karin Sultan+some street car to go to casino) are now invisible in the arcade garage. So I can't modify it anymore, fortunatly I've already modded them. Also my passes 1 and 2 were reseted. But so far its good to know we get HSW upgrade soon on PC for Hakuchou Drag. Its really what matters to me. + massive banwave for script kiddo noobs that teleport in missions, use godmode in survivals, crash peoples in pub lobbies.  I hope they will suffer with this update.

I'm getting either duplicated audio or corrupted audio across all of GTA Online and GTA 5 Single Player now on Xbox Series X, it doesn't happen with other games (including other Rockstar titles).

After the update seems auto invite in jobs/heists doesn't work (at least for me), people keep getting the orange button "blocked" instead of invited. This potentially blocks further progression. I'm on PS4.

I think half the fixes are just making it easier to add future fixes

If they don't add iFruit to next gen, PC will get to have all the fun.
 

I just added "ICREAMED" and "KERCHOO" to my custom plates for the cyclone ii and arbiter gt

also can the ignus gun fire straight up when you aim it through a chain link fence like the speedo?

"Quit to Main Menu" shows a help page saying progress will be saved, but this isn't true, tested multiple times by changing spawn point right before quit to menu, never remembers it, vs changing spawn point and then forcing save by changing outfit.

 

I suspected this a while back after losing a prep I'd just done but yeah it's a thing. 

 

Exit to SP saves fine.

 

It's actually obvious if you watch for the orange save indicator, never shows up unlike quit to SP.

Something similar is happening with the Agency if it is set as your spawn point too.

 

The trophies and collectibles progression in the player's office is always reset when you first spawn in the Agency, but leaving and re-entering the Agency seems to fix this bug until you spawn again the next time you play GTA Online.

While it isn't listed in the patch notes and I can't really confirm except for myself on both PS4 and PS5 versions and one other person, the extra animal materials cargo from doing an air freight mission no longer appears or gets attributed to your stock. If anyone else can verify that would be nice.

prop equipment e.g duffel bag that appears next to the bed in the kosatka when you complete the necessary prep work does not appear when you spawn in the sub. To make it reappear you need to renenter the sub
