Roberto Loredo
When I put a new skin on SA, his feet seem to sink into the ground. I thought maybe it was because the new skin was taller than the replaced one, so I added a new pedestrian in peds.ide and put the skin in modloader, without replacing the original one. However, the problem is not solved, how can I correct this error? Edited April 22 by Roberto Loredo
ZAZ
It's because the mod-skin-model.dff is taller than the sa peds or the offset of the mod-skin-model.dff is lower The root bone of the dff gives the offset (position in game) Did you made the new skin by yourself or did you download it? If downloaded, give link to download Edited April 22 by ZAZ CLEO MODS CLEO Script Tutorial
Roberto Loredo
https://gtaland.net/gta-san-andreas-mods/gta-san-andreas-skins/doa-classic-kasumi-casual.html?amp Do you mean that I have to lower the skeleton to the soles of the shoes so they don't sink? I have also thought about reducing the height of the skin but I have not found tutorials that show how. https://www.mediafire.com/view/7pysn6e3a86p7d0/A%2B_Gallery_3.jpg/file

Roberto Loredo
I checked inside the skins and this is the only thing I found, is this the bone you are referring to? https://www.mediafire.com/view/3wl2b3xjx1l8jyx/A%2B_Gallery.jpg/file It's just that I always called black polygons "skin". Is that really the skeleton?

ZAZ
I didn't download Kaori Wang, because it needs to register at libertycity.net 5 hours ago, Roberto Loredo said: I checked inside the skins and this is the only thing I found, is this the bone you are referring to? https://www.mediafire.com/view/3wl2b3xjx1l8jyx/A%2B_Gallery.jpg/file It's just that I always called black polygons "skin". Is that really the skeleton? yes, maybe these sand coloured marks are skeleton parts watch the screenshot of a female ped in 3dmax https://www.mediafire.com/view/1fde9ox90ubi4k8/Root-Bone-female-ped.jpg/file# watch the screenshot of King Kong in 3dmax https://www.mediafire.com/view/a0tf8gfl41ku7io/Root-Bone-KingKong.jpg/file# the Root bone was moved up for King Kong so it needs to move the Root bone a little bit upwards for your ped Edited April 23 by ZAZ Roberto Loredo 1 CLEO MODS CLEO Script Tutorial
Roberto Loredo
I had not noticed that detail, in blender it says the same. Based on everything I've seen, I think the solution is to reduce the size of the new skins to a height equal to or less than that of a pedestrian, taking care of the root position. Thank you. Oh, I didn't see the edit. I'll move the bone up. Kaori Wang can also be found on gtaall.com
ZAZ
Meanwhile I downloaded Kaori Wang watch the screenshot of bfyst.dff and KaoriWang.dff in 3dmax https://www.mediafire.com/view/s7iz4bfxa8v4br0/Root-Bone-KaoriWang.jpg/file Kaori Wang is smaller but the Root Bone is higher But very strange is following: The Root Bone of Kaori Wang is named as "ripped" This is a method that is used for Player body parts like the clothes Clothes models have a complete skeleton, even the shoes And there the Root Bone is named "ripped" "fat" or "normal" depending to the version, because clothes models are a clump of 3 models, one for fat state, one for ripped(musceled) and one for normal state Edited April 23 by ZAZ CLEO MODS CLEO Script Tutorial
Roberto Loredo
Do you mean that the skin does not sink because it has a different type of bone?
ZAZ
No, i was just wondering and would expect that it cause the game to crash But wait I'm misleaded totally Kaori Wang isn't the model that you've shown in the screenshots which is sinking in ground 14 hours ago, Roberto Loredo said: https://libertycity.net/files/gta-san-andreas/137837-kaori-wang.html I just used this skin and I didn't see his shoes sink, I guess the author of the error is the creator of the skin, not the game, what do you think? https://www.mediafire.com/view/rnvc8yzc9vdlrl5/Captura_5-1.PNG/file this is Kaori Wang https://www.mediafire.com/view/jj3zmraid5gwpcg/gallery346.jpg/file what do you mean with "I guess the author of the error is the creator of the skin, not the game" CLEO MODS CLEO Script Tutorial
Roberto Loredo
That's right, Kaori isn't the sunken skin, it's Kasumi. I showed you Kaori Wang as an example of a "healthy" skin to compare with Kasumi, a "defective" skin. When I'm talking about a bug, I'm referring of course to the only flawed skin I've shown, Kasumi. When I saw Kasumi's sunken feet I thought that the game was causing the error, but actually it could be said that the author of this error is the creator of Kasumi because I do not calculate her height well. Roberto Loredo
I will raise the bone of one copy of Kasumi, and I will reduce the height of another, to see what happens.
