RVP - Revamped Vehicles Project

Correction and enhancing of the original transport. RVP is the successor to UVP, ISDC and older predecessors. The mod not only fixes bugs, but also adapts models to ImVehFt & VehFuncs. This have not happened before.

Features

In short:

  • Fixing vanilla bugs.
  • Working optics (turn signals, hazard lights, reverse lights).
  • Working parts (windshield wipers, steering wheel, engine).
  • Round wheels.
  • Original SA style. C'mon, It's a default transport.

In theory, RVP should work in SAMP too. Not sure.

 

Progress

Models revamped: 115 out of 212. Changelog.

The mod is still under development. So if you find any bugs — please, report! It'll help us a lot to keep RVP decent.

 

Requirements

You're going to need:

I recommend to install RVP along with RoSA Project Evolved, or at least with Proper Vehicle Retex (which is included in RoSA-E by default). Then the transport will also have cool authentic textures. But don't forget to prioritize RoSA or PVR in ModLoader over RVP.

You are free to reupload RVP on any sites, but follow 2.5 rules:

  • Give the proper credits;

Might I add a recommendation: - depending on the scope of this project, can you add turn signals and reverse lights to all vehicles? There are a few packs from years ago that were for ImVehFt that did this, but not to the scale or quality of what you're doing. Additionally, these packs also added additional flashers for emergency vehicles.

 

There are these three that I'm referring to - not sure if this'll be of any help to you but you might be able to source some of the changes from these and just give these people credit:

I know what you mean, but I won't do it, because it will creating a new bugs like alpha bug on glass, etc. And it's moderately hard to do.

I'd like to report a bug - The headlamps of Uranus do not cast a light on the road like the other vehicles do. Look at the Sultan in the background for reference.

I'd like to report another bug - There are lighting issues with Bullet's headlamps when they are damaged.

This is when they aren't damaged.

This is when they are damaged. The headlights on the left shouldn't be illuminated when they're damaged.

 

I'd love to keep bug testing your vehicles. The revamps add to the atmosphere to the game.

Got it, already in buglist too 👌

Once you may find the Sunrise. Kilo and I do know about its problem…

I'm currently improving all of currently existed/adapted vehicles and planning to add more. But I haven't upload/update them yet. So stay tuned!

 

P.S. I'm already fixed both Bravura and Sunrise bug. And thank you for the bug report. Will fix them :)

Have you thought doing some extra vehicles after you finished doing every SA vehicles? Like a civilian LVPD car or something else from another GTA game? Something to fill up the useless IDs the game has (ie Ranchlure, Glensh*t and Sadlsh*t) so traffic can have more variety, but with support for ImVehFt and VehFuncs.

 

Anyway, I really like your work. I still have installed the previous version and I can't wait to see this new one finished. Keep it up! 👍

@Telephone there is Extended Vanilla Vehicle Pack, which brings a lot of new vehicles (100+) to the streets. It isn't adapted either to IVF or VF. But still, provides huge variety

it is mistake in handling line, use this:

I don't seem to be getting round wheels on all vehicles. You can see in the image below. Am I missing something?

Sorry it's little bit unclear in here. But "All Vehicles" in here refers to all adapted vehicles, not with non adapted vehicles too

Depends.... If you didn't have any vehicles patch mods, just leave it in default values. If you have, increase above 70 or 90 (greater priority value than other vehicles patch mod priority value)

 

And, if you installed Proper Vehicles Retex, simply set it's priority value above RVP priority value.
