Restored Pedestrians

This mod restores completely and almost unused pedestrians. Why almost? because some of them can be seen either in cutscenes or in certain missions, but from their voice lines, various types of clothing, model names, it can be concluded that they should appears in the city as a regular pedestrians.
In addition to restoration, improvements and fixes been made for some pedestrians.
Description has been made for each restored pedestrian, so there shouldn't be questions about why it was done this way and not the other way, correct me if I made mistake in something.

Eastern european cook, from which developers made a diamond dealer. He can be seen only in cutscenes in the same look, whereas his texture file has more face and clothes variations.
He don't have unique audio, and there is nothing interesting in other files, I can suppose that he should appear in Hove Beach as a regular ped, because Chinatown has its own cook pedestrian (M_M_KoreaCook_01) that spawns in the area and nothing bad happens in the game.

Appears in couple cutscenes on Brucie's missions.
He has unique voice lines and texture variation, this suggests that he was a regular pedestrian at some point, but where he supposed to appears? the only screenshot he was seen is in Alderney City driving a car, apparently as a regular ped, but what he was doing there?
Anyway, due to lack of information, the only logical place to add him is the docks, because it will be strange to see him among business people in areas like Alderney City.

Since the system of subway trains and buses was changed, these models were simply not needed, and developers left them in files.
Only place where it seemed logical to add them was the airport, because only there you can see buses in action. What will train driver do there? well, he can just replace the bus driver.
Among the bugs, I can only mention broken hands models of the bus driver, which I don't know how to fix yet.

Unused arms dealer, tho his audio is still used in the game, but for whatever reason the model was replaced by a bouncer from Honkers club.

This ped can be seen on the Final Interview mission cutscene, and on in-game TV. According to the files, he supposed to be another homeless.
The only issue that he has is a slightly broken LOD of his hands model, everything else seems to be fine.

Latin American woman that appears only in Escuela of the Streets mission cutscene.
By the name of the model, it can be understood that she was second version of a similar latin woman, she uses her voice lines as well.
She can be seen in Bohan, East Holland, and wherever F_M_PLatin_01 may appear, she will also be there.

From a simple pedestrian developers made her one of the Niko's girlfriends, she still appears in the game as regular ped, only on mission Hating the Haters.
She doesn't have any bugs, the only thing that can be noted is her texture file contains a lot of unused textures for various extras, unfortunately there's no models to restore them.
Like pedestrian above, she can be seen in Bohan, East Holland and similar places.

Everything is the same just like with F_M_PLatin_02, she can be seen in Escuela of the Streets mission cutscene and all that, but what's interesting about her is that she appeared on couple of screenshots of Brucie's motorcycle thefts, both screenshots were taken in Northwood, which means that she was in the Latinas peds group, why she was removed from there is a mystery. She also has +drivesmotorcycle flag, interesting coincidence given that she was seen on screenshots with motorcycles.

Latin cook, which can be seen in The Cousins Bellic mission cutscene, and in TBoGT on one of the club management missions.
He has unique voice lines and varied look, the situation is the same as with M_M_EEcook, but it remains unclear why developers among these peds left only a Korean cook in pedgrp, maybe he was just lucky?

Appears on Search and Delete mission as the Lyle Rivas characte, and on Knowing Me Knowing You mission in TLAD as bugging expert.
Game has only M_Y_Chopshop_02 in pedgrp groups, while this pedestrian is missing from there.

Completely unused pedestrian. The only time he appeared was the one of the very first screenshots of the game.
Based on that screenshot, he will appear in Outlook park, but can also appears in other areas as well, like Downtown or South Slopes.

M_M_Enforcer

This guy is quite often used in various missions. Firstly as a "slimeball" on the Ilyena mission, then as a helicopter pilot on the Paper Trail mission, and finally as the character Frankie Gallo, he also appears on in-game TV as the character Lyle Cleethorpes, but he alternates with M_Y_Pmanhat_01.
He does not have unique voice lines, instead of it he uses the Irish thugs audio container. In pedpersonality.dat file he listed as criminal and bowling player, but he don't play bowling anyway, also according to the in-game TV, he supposed to appear in Little Italy. With all these factors, I decided add him to Little Italy, and to the Irish thugs group.

Despite being commonly used in beta, this cop was almost completely replaced in final game, and what I mean by "almost" is that he appears only on Pest Control mission, probably developers forgot to replace him there.
So, based on his appearance in second trailer of the game, and on Pest Control mission, that cop has been restored in tollbooths. Credits to @Olanov, because he's the one who restored that cop in this mod.

She appears on various missions, and on in-game TV as Cloe Parker. She written in two pedgrp groups, but for some reason not appears in the city, so according to some beta screenshots, I decided to add her in Algonquin.

I don't have much on this pedestrian, he doesn't have unique voice lines, and for some reason his pedpersonality.dat lines located in TLAD, not in TBoGT, like what the hell?
To get more info about him I decided to check other TLAD peds, and I found that M_M_Upeast_01 using russian voice lines (I have no idea why R* gave this guy russian voice and added him to bronx, harlem, and similar groups, but they know better), and added him to midtown and eastern european group.

This one has the same problems as M_Y_Mideast_01, luckily there is a similar pedestrian in TLAD, so I added him to groups in which this similar pedestrian is written.
This pedestrian has a text leftover with his appearance variations in IV, apparently he was removed and later reappeared in TBoGT, but even here he turned out to be unused.

Just like with EFLC triads I decided to add them in specific gang groups, they have voice lines and varied look.
In vanilla game they only appear in missions, but never during freeroam (although M_M_E2maf_01 can appear in the golf minigame as an opponent, but he is the only one with such ability).

Scenario Pedestrians (Optional)
Reason to make these pedestrians separate from others is because of the way they were restored, like some of them supposed to be used only on certain missions, events, etc. but this is the only way for now.
All of them simply spawns on certain locations and just hangout with other peds, some of them can reproduce various actions, like smoking and... that's all, but you can use VPA in which I add more actions to them.

Unused fire chief. According to his audio file, he was supposed arrive on "prank" calls, but for some reason two firefighters arrives instead.
What's interesting is that in pedpersonality.dat he doesn't have +fireman flag, so maybe he was a scripted pedestrian, and appears either on calls or on some missions.

Male doctor is used on mission "Flatline", and on advertisement "Medicate Me", while female doctor doesn't appear anywhere for some reason.
In audio file both of them has medical chat quotes, meaning that they probably supposed to appear in hospitals just like nurses, but there is some strange leftover in scenarios.dat.
In scenarios.dat there is two unused scenarios: Scenario_HospitalDoctor and Scenario_HospitalNurse. Both of them set F_Y_Nurse as a loadable model (what's the point to set her on doctor scenario?), also them has "Task(MoveBetween(4.0)", which is unknown why or with what they meant to walk in hospital.

Appears on the Flatline mission. Despite the fact that he does not appear anywhere else besides this mission, he has quite a few variations of faces, and is also fully voiced, so in this mod he will appear in hospital among the rest of the restored doctors.

Unused employees of Superstar (originally Rockstar) Cafe.
It's unknown if the idea with ability for the player to buy food in this cafe was implemented, but these employees have audio for this, it's a shame that this feature didn't make it into the final game.

M_M_Hporter_01 is appears on mission Late Checkout, when F_O_Maid_01 is left unused, again for unknown reason.
In the files there is no specific information that can be used, so the only thing left is early design of this mission, about which not much is known. They also have a walkietalkie quotes, which is restored in VPA.

M_Y_FF_Burger_R and M_Y_FF_Cluck_R, are used in the game, but they never appears in hangouts, unlike female workers, M_Y_FF_WSpizza_R in that case is unused completely, so I decided to correct this situation.

Here is a map on which I indicated the places where these pedestrians can appear:

Fire icon means that M_M_Firechief appears there, hospital icon means M_M_Doctor_01 and F_Y_Doctor_01, burger icon - M_Y_FF_Burger_R and so on, and so on.

So, that was the main part of the mod, but besides restoring unused pedestrians, this mod also restores various pedestrian assets.
Just like unused pedestrians, a description was made about why it was done this way, and not another way.
Thanks to @donnits for offering to add his work to this mod, without him this part would not exist (by the way, check out his workshop for more interesting stuff).

Unused jacket textures, only thing that can be noted is M_Y_Gafr_Lo_02 (from which jacket model was taken) has almost exactly the same textures, only with either a changed color or some extra details.

Total mess of a pedestrian, he has two unused jacket textures and unused pants model that doesn't have textures for whatever reason.
Luckily other pedestrians have all necessary parts to complete that one.

Despite the fact that this pedestrian miraculously left in files, his backpack was removed, which has unique textures.
Fortunately the backpack model still exist in the game, so everything was restored here.

Seriously, what was the point of making separate models for clothing sellers, and not moving everything that the original model had?
All clothes were taken from unused M_Y_Shopasst_01 ped, or rather, I replaced the whole model and fixed face variations.

This pedestrian has nothing left in the files that would suggest that he had this backpack, but thanks to the in-game TV footage, and a few screenshots, everything was sorted out and restored.

It looks like the pedestrians were changed even at the stage when screenshots of the vehicles that need to be stolen for Stevie were taken.
Like with M_Y_Pbronx_01, there is absolutely nothing left in the files that would suggest that he had this backpack.

7 unique tie (8 since 1.6 version update) textures left unused because someone from developers decided to completely change suit models for this pedestrian.
Fortunately, one of the suit for these ties was found and restored here, while the second suit is removed completely, which was unique and no other pedestrian has it.

Well, this pedestrian had these extras, and at some stage developers decided to remove them, at least models were not unique and restoring them was not a big deal.

Thanks to the developer who showed renders of some pedestrians, it became known that this pedestrian had a couple of extras, which of course were removed.
Texture of the hood is left in the files, but I couldn't find exactly the same model for it, so I had to take the most similar.
Credits to donnits for correcting the size of the bag for this pedestrian.

Unused jacket texture, which probably made sense in the beta because this ped had role of both trashman and a sweeper, unfortunately restoring him as a sweeper is not possible yet, but at least we have this jacket.

Okay so situation here is unusual, this suit with three texture variations for it is console-styled, it was replaced on PC port, so a very similar model was found by Tomasak and restored back, tho suit is kinda big and doesn't match the real suit from consoles, but we must take what we get, besides it works properly so I see no reasons to not add it here.
Oh and this ped also have three unused pants textures that perfectly fits for the existing pants model.

Model of this jacket still exist in files so it was no problem to restore it, however, at the moment it only has one texture, since the second texture nowhere to be found in files, and nobody tried to recreate it yet.

4 hood textures left unused among with other extras that were meant to make this hobo more creepy than he already is.
Model for this hood still exist in game and used by other ped, so restoring it was easy, only problem is clipping issues, even tho it fits the jacket, head model the main problem about it, maybe that was the reason for removing this extra.

These hairstyles were hidded by the separate hairstyle models, but these short ones are part of the head model itself, developers didn't bother to make them visible, so I did a simple trick and now you can see them during gameplay.
They were visible on various beta footages, so I'm sure this content makes sense to be here.

Fortunately, this texture was not unique and another pedestrian has it, although some edits had to be made so that it would look correct on the model (even on TV it can be seen that the texture has some bugs).

Unused glasses models that were shown couple times on various beta footages (at least for the M_Y_Cop), but got removed before release, fortunately they are quite easy to restore.
In addition to glasses, the watch for M_M_Fatcop_01 was restored as well, I just couldn't show it on the comparison screenshot.

The same developer provided more renders than just one for M_M_Pharbron_01, and thanks to this it became known that this pedestrian had bunch of minor content that was removed, so far this is what has been restored:
Cap with bandana with recreated texture for it, it's still not perfect but what can you do without sources;
Different texture for one of the cap variations;
Opaque black glasses, but because model of glasses is different, this thing still WIP.

You might have noticed this chain on the M_Y_Glat_Lo_02, and you got it right they both shared it, but for whatever reason it was removed from here.
The most noticeable thing from this render is of course the white T-shirt, there's zero sources from it and I'm not sure if it even going to be possible to restore.

All of these pedestrians have unused accessories, all because the developers didn't write a few lines of code to make them appear.
Credits to @brokensymmetry for writing a code for pedprops variations in his gunlockup.sco script for Fusion Fix mod, from which I took the lines and added them to other scripts.

Both accessories were left unused due to the models having some hash instead of proper name for models, fixing the names brought these hats back into the game.

There is already a mod that adds peds from EFLC to IV.

If possible, I suggest to adjust the spawn rate/possibility of these.
Otherwise I am so happy with these restored peds, I think they're great!

This is an absolute random that is not configurable. The only thing that can affect on it is the number of variations of clothes, faces, etc., and since these pedestrians don't have much variations, the game loads them more often than other peds, just like a taxi bug.

Are you using RIL.Budgeted with high settings? Even with that I can say that the alcoholic may still appear too much since the game only spawns one type of homeless 75% of the time in my experience.

Yeah, I mean increasing the RIL.Budgeted settings in the .ini file. It's an essential mod in my opinion but it's not very effective by default, check the Liberty Rush optionals folder if you want to use my settings.

m_o_suited, m_y_gafr_lo_01 and m_y_galb_lo_02 have unused textures in their .wtd that are shared with other pedestrian's meshes (m_m_prich_01, m_y_gafr_lo_02, m_m_porient_01 respectively). I "restored" them here if you want to add them to your list.

Update:
• Created "Restored Pedestrians Clothes" mod. All information on the main page.
• Restored two more pedestrians: M_M_Enforcer and M_M_Gunnut_01.
• M_Y_Boho_01 was removed from previous groups, and added only to # POPCYCLE_GROUP_BROOKLYN

Hey Attramet! Though i let you know that m_y_tough_05 has a unused jacket in his wdd file and i managed to restore it, mostly...

Most of it wasn't hard to restore, importing the .odd file and fixing the code up and exporting it back did the trick.

Eh, I do not want to upset you, but it is used in game, despite such an unfinished state. He written in pedVariations.dat and the only thing missing is the normal and specular textures.
btw, I see you understand files, so maybe you wanna restore removed hood from M_M_trampblack, model of which has M_M_Sweeper. I restored it but not released, because I can't fix it, so that's it.

It's alright, i was just kinda a bit curious if it was unused. I'll try to take a shot at that other thing though. See how it can be resolved.

@Attramet, I tested on TBOGT but not seperate version, well the actual complete edition version tested, and not crashed but in rotterdam tower inside not appear any reception guy and security guard inside, but in tlad not tested yet, but probably working too, probably.

I checked the TBOGT and I don't have any problems with the appearance of the registrar and the guard there, so I think the problem is not in my mod, maybe in some scenario or script which makes them spawn, but definitely not pedgrp stuff.

well i forgot mentioned, but include your scenario pedestrian (optional), was working perfectly, i'm not gonna stolen for you, i know we need permission first the owner, also including scenarios2.ipl and tested on the actual complete edition and i know mentioned previously post, iv and tbogt working perfectly and maybe tlad too, i guess, but not tested yet.

oh wow, when I tested scenario pedestrians on eflc the game just crashes during loading

well... we need to launch eflc as dlc in iv, so can run but he not, well i don't wanna trouble, i tested on tlad also not crash, because, i have eflc as dlc, just only complete edition compatible, but seperate version of eflc was not compatible.

Strange behavior I had noticed few times after installing RUSH and this mod. 

In some locations, during late night time (21:00+) when you approach some spot, game can stop to update picture, when watching certain direction. You keep rotating camera, and when looking away it goes back to normal, move viewport to "issue" direction again rendering stops. 

If you leave and get back, or switch time to approx. 12:00+, everything works fine. 

 

Could this be that messed up ped/pedvariations files points game to spawn ped X with custom items Y, but due to error rendering is affected in such weird way?

On other hand if you move closer to direction where freeze occurs, it disappears, and game runs as usual.

Another possible reason for that could be More Visible Interiors but not really sure, maybe some LOD problem or what. View Distance 100, Details - 51

Видел твоё сообщение в дискорде, как знал что спросишь тут.
Проверил у себя и такой проблемы не обнаружил, игра абсолютно чистая, разве что проверял на четвёртом патче. Если бы были ошибки в pedvariations, то игра бы вылетала либо при загрузке, либо при спавне модели, но тут только фризы.
Насчёт MVI сомневаюсь, так как на месте где было снято видео никакого интерьера из мода нет.
Могу предположить что дело в каком то скрипте, возможно в Раше, возможно в чём то другом, но по крайней мере на чистой игре всё работает как часы.

Под чистой версией, ты имеешь вообще чистая чистая, или чистая + твои моды?

В ванильной версии такого не встречал хотя давно играл. Т.к. оно редко вылезает, жить с этим можно. Можно наверное спрошу заодно в теме Rush. 

 

Самый близкий интерьер наверное это дом Пегорино, может он начинает подгружаться на такой дистанции, но взаимосвязи с временем не вижу. Если только ночью дальности отрисовки меняется.

вообще чистая, дом Пегорино подгружается если заехать на ту территорию, где находится он и ещё пара домов, так что это не вариант.
