Ifrut APP Not Working On Android

Does anybody know the workaround to getting the Ifruit APP to work on a Android Phone such as the Galaxys21?

Installing it on an older device is the workaround i think. If you still got an old smartphone or tablet laying around try it on that, the older the better. I still got an old Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (SM-T235) laying around it still has Android Lollipop on it, it works fine on it.

 

Also if you want to use Los Santos Customs in the app, the last 10 vehicles used are not allowed to have "Track" wheels on it, else the app crashes if you start LSC.

Get bluestacks https://www.bluestacks.com it works fine on it (unless you specifically crash on lsc as mentioned above). Then a quick fix is stealing cheap NPC cars and driving them to a garage to refresh that recent  vehicles list.

  Only thing I wanted it for was the Personalized License Plates.

  App works great for android 5. The plates part of it anyway.  ...luckily I had an older phone.

  otherwise.. use an android emulator.. with android 5 on it. like they said above.

... but hey...  They could also just add that part to the game itself very easily.

Well there was that "leaked" garage page on SC, maybe they will actually implement it some day.

Would be nice, but SC still runs the same bodge as iFruit currently, showing the last 10 cars you drove because it was launched for a game that only had 10 slots

 

There's also the small matter of the 3 or 4 mod shops I personally own, as well as LSCM, Benny's, etc etc.

Yeah, I only ever used the app to set my personalized plates, 4(ish?) years ago and haven't touched it since.

Fun fact about iFruit is: the very same Android app from very same Google Play works perfectly fine on my last year's chromebook.

I just made new plates and got them on PS5. I had to make a new ps4 character and make at least $100000 to purchase the plates just so they could show up on my PS5 account.

 

I also used an old iPhone 4

And, perhaps it goes without saying, you need to buy the plates for a vehicle model that existed as of the last iFruit update. If any of the last ten driven vehicles are from recent DLCs, the iFruit "garage" may be bugged and you may need to cleanse its history by driving 10 different older vehicles that you own.

Within the limitations I mentioned, yes. But Apple is emailing devs with apps that aren't actively maintained, threatening removal from the App Store in 30 days. If that's enforced most of Rockstar's iOS apps that haven't been touched in years will get taken down next month.

Cars don't matter, it's Track wheels that break it. You can find the Contract DLC vehicles in iFruit.

Outdated, few system updates later iFruit on Chrome OS behave exactly the same way like on Green Trash Can system. So, everything is (not) working - as intended.

I'm using an emulator to make it work for custom plates but yes, this feature should definitely be included ingame.
