Is Online on PS4, Xbox One still high after PS5, Xbox Series version release?

Just wondering about Online count on PS4, Xbox One after E&E release, a lot of players migrated and we know that after migration we lose our character on Past Gen, so if you are still playing on Past Gen, did you notice any changes in Online count?

I guarantee you there's still millions of people still playing on last gen consoles. None of my friends even transferred because consoles are still hard to get.

Very few people have switched to PS5, particularly because it's still difficult to get a PS5.

 

Nothing has changed on PS4 from what I can tell. Plenty of full lobbies still.

Sure do, but still, a lot of players have migrated, but Past Gen is still runnin' (even PS3, Xbox 360 had players after last GTA Online update in 2015).

I have been in full lobbies on PS5, and at the same time my list of friends (mostly GTA players) only has 2 or 3 people on the new version while the rest still hasn't transferred yet.

 

I believe a whole lot of people have transferred but the amount of new console owners in general is still low compared to last gen, so there are still more players there.

I play on both. From my experience on Ps5 are more grown-ups. Its more relaxing. On ps4 are much more kiddies who cant afford/get a ps5

I'd anticipate Xbox migration to happen faster than Playstation because Xbox Series console availabilty is better, but you'll never know unless your particular friends vanish. 360/PS3 GTA Online kept running for seven years after the last transition, evem though there were only content updates for the first year of that. With that precedent there's no end in sight for last-gen Online.
