Xbox One Solo Lobby Glitch apparently patched

The block multiplayer glitch for solo lobbies appears to have been patched on Xbox. Tried a few times and it's put me in populated lobbies, when normally you'd be prompted to change your permissions to do so.

Anyone got a reliable method for X Box Series X?

Good news, the patch has been undone, and you will now be prompted to change settings when trying to join a new session with multiplayer blocked.

From what I've seen, it's to continuously join a new session, until you eventually get a solo lobby.

What’s the best way to do this currently?  Ever since the NAT test method was patched I have been using an app on my PC called netcut. It basically kills internet to your Xbox for 15 seconds. It always kicks everyone but it usually starts populating the lobby back fairly quickly.   You usually have enough time to do a sale though.

Settings>Account>Privacy & Online Safety>Xbox Privacy>View Details & Customise>Communication & Multiplayer the drop down under "You can join multiplayer games" change from allow to block. Go back to the game, join new session, 20-30 seconds you'll be prompted to change settings, enter your password quickly and select ALLOW to join multiplayer games. You should get a solo public lobby.

You'll probably find some leakage of players joining, during the crates double money, most of the lobbies ended with a few players in them. The he vast majority were just grinding crates or running sales or just idled in front of cctv whilst cooking supplies.

Don't enter your password too quickly, I think there is a window where this works and you can be too fast, or too slow. My password is long so I could just get it done using the controller and it work (sometimes I was too slow and it timed out), but I've also pasted it using the xbox app for speed and it made no difference, joined a fully populated lobby. I'm sure this has happened more than once. I will add I also haven't done it for several weeks! This is on an XSX running old online, not E+E by the way, not transferred yet.

I don't think that the Blocking and allowing works anymore on Series X, I tried it a few times and either puts me in full lobbies or brings an error saying connection was cut.
Its fair to live with the reality that MC Businesses and the NightClub are kind of dead now and hoping that R* see this and rectify it in possible future updates or in the future titles where public lobbies arent needed for content. Which is the way they appear to be going with the KDJ Contracts and Franklins

So weird that they actively patch this on Xbox when it's practically a feature on Playstation.

It doesn't, and neither does Test NAT, but I'll leave this little google images based puzzle here for y'all to ponder

Use netcut and turn off ur wifi for a few sec's (like that u dont have to turn off for other devices)

After that wait a bit and u should get a lobby split.

It's not clear if everyone is referring to E+E or not here? but it definitely still works on a series X for non-E+E, tested it last night. 27 secs from first prompt to confirming my password, couple more seconds to confirm allow multiplayer and I was in a public all on my own. Seems odd that it wouldn't work for E+E as this is purely an xbox live setting isn't it?

For myself I only do the multiplayer block technique if I only want the solo lobby for a single sale.

My main method is to connect to GTA Online via wifi, and then plug in a LAN cable while in the lobby (While on a loading screen entering / exiting a building works best for me, otherwise I'll usually get disconnected from Xbox Live).  That gives me a solo lobby pretty much as long as I want every time - but once I'm joined by friends, it becomes open season for others to join.

How the game reacts to this set of circumstances has changed for E&E, yeah.
