vse_lor
Hey lads, so I wanted to know if anyone knows what method Rockstar uses to create these types of textures for their models?: Do you know the effects they use to make their images so crisp with low poly quality like these ones? I've been asking a few professional modders on samp that knows how to create stuff like these but they just won't tell me how to do it, acting all salty and entitled or they'll topic about expensive payments to be taught on how to do these types of stuff. If anyone could just be decent enough to share how this is done and willing help others improve in modding areas with tips would be much appreciated. ZAZ
Did you ever made the texturing, especially the UV mapping by 3d editor? Basicly you need an Image to assigne it to the mesh Therefor you can assigne the mesh in an associated way and modify the associated mesh You can resize it, rotate it, stretch it, how ever you want The mesh don't change, only the assignement to the image changes Also, if you see the mesh of a SA charackter and compare it with the high poly mesh of a modern charackter you can see a huge difference Note: GTA III was the game of the year 2000 It was a sensation, the only open world game, the only game where you can enter\exit cars when ever you want cars that can flip and start burning and you can/must leave it grafical was it not senational but also not bad have a look to old games of the year 2000 and you'll think OMG 5 years later SA came out, better grafic than gtaIII but not good enough it was a known fact that the grafic was poor to keep performance It was a very big pack of functions and features So it doesn't matter, how the texture image was made If you do the UV mapping, then you can make textures like you want Mostly you need more images for a model If you need to make small files than you try to use only one small image CLEO MODS CLEO Script Tutorial
leaflinks
I'm guessing as it looks, sort of canvas, and the artwork was well done. As for the statement there, yes sadly San Andreas couldn't have online for the PS2, would've of been a great. Performance was the reason, like so many of the downs of not getting certain features in. Like a working sunroof on a vehicle, that is now available in GTA V.
