And although I appreciate them trying to get the player base involved with the outfits and all, why instead of using already existing items, they don't offer up some way for players or these you tube streamers to hand over ideas for new clothing and accessories for the community? I may not be playing as often as I used to (for obvious reasons) but I am still actively involved with certain RDR communities and would definitely be willing to think something up. Now instead of a youtuber looking to indulge the #SaveRDRO aspect or be critical, they look to create cool outfits so they get picked for the monthly promotion in hope by them getting a mention, it increases viewers/subscribers, and surely by not having videos criticising RDRO helps. I have Amazon Prime linked to my RGSC account, but no discount on the Elephant Rifle, plus yesterday I wanted to clear a bounty, but the game didn't gave me the option to claim the free one. Same with the 30% off for select Bounty Hunter items - it prompts me to press L3, but the option to claim the discount is greyed out Plus, did more than 15 Bounty Hunter missions between Normal, Infamous and Legendary, but didn't get the 3 Gold Bars promised (maybe I did something wrong here though, not sure) Anyone? I just can't help but be cynical when this much money is involved these days (both on R*/T2's part or the plonkers on the tube, media in general really with millions to be made). This whole era of YouTube, influencers and microtransactions is just too easy for me to think of the negatives or the way things can be manipulated. Though you're not wrong about the younger generation behind swayed, that's the world today. They often really rely on the likes of youtubers and/or being seen as 'cool' by following the leader/the current fads and it can easily be a dark path. I was just talking with my daughter about some muppet that talks up all these daft conspiracies just for kicks and clicks (like flat earth, that women are aliens, or some crap that she watches and I overheard and just laughed at why she'd give them the views, lol), that's just daily entertainment for the younger folks these days, for better or worse. It really is a world I'll never understand, nor want to to be honest, aside remind my daughter that it's all just fluff to make money and to not take it so serious. Honestly, how people get attention these days though and make money from it is just way past me. Generally I don't care that people make their fortune mind you, indeed, good luck to them. Earn all you can. But to me it's just a sad old world I can't grasp fully, so it's just easier to be cynical with it all. Beer helps mind you, lol. I'm just glad I'm not a youngster in today's world.
