APC Resurgence

Any lobby I go into with Orgs or MCs going around trying to kill everyone in sight that aren't comprised of Juggalos are ALWAYS all packed into a single APC with the SAM Missile launcher.

 

Is there any specific reason this has become a popular thing in recent weeks? Just curious, because I noticed it last week, but I did Cayo's with the Bunker sales running in the background today and found a single lobby with 2 different Orgs doing this while at war with each other, one with 4 players and the other with 3 players + 1 in a Khanjali.

Could be because it was on sale a little while back. I mean its faster than a tank and with the missile launcher has a higher firerate.

I rarely play these days but I have seen also increase in Insurgent Pickup usage. Mostly tryhards who got their arse kicked and now hope to get their kills back.

Likely because the MkII is useless due to Imani Tech.

 

It's a faster, modifiable tank that can drive on water, the SAM Turret is likely so they can just spam missiles at anyone near and bounce them around.

Also and this has been a nice little tip for years now, if you move from the driver seat to the weapons seat nobody can lock onto you. Not sure what happens when you're driving a gunner round though.

The APC is an all round great vehicle, it's the MkII of the ground and sea.

It used to be slower than a pedal-swan in water but yeah good now. Also you can drop it from an avenger like a boss.

I thought that, I was certain it got a stealth buff in some patch to make it faster in the water. Did the Zaba get a buff?

I do wonder what happens to online gaming in general if the war escalates further and internet lines between Russia and the rest of the world are cut, in the case of GTA:O 75% of the cheaters and 99% of griefers would be gone overnight.

Since im obviously not rooting for an escalation, can't we just pay 6 bucks a month for somebody to keep breaking that cable? please?

It honestly sounds nice to hear the APC get some love these days. It's so underrated for how powerful it is even if it's a bit less good than it was in TBoGT.

Only to get going from a stop (unless you can  run over something that provides traction like the docked boats behind your yacht).

 

Once it's up to speed, it's not really that bad.

They'd break gas pipelines before internet cables, and the gas is still flowing.

Didn't want to become political but you can pretty much reenact Ukraine War in GTAO given the vehicles, weapons and outfits, so maybe that's whats happening? Haven't played GTAO in months so can't tell.

I like to roll around the block with the APC when a crew is doing Stand Your Ground, then just obliterate them at the scoring zone.

I used to own it but sold it - bought it again, tested it in the water and f*ck yeah that things faster than it used to be on the water. Gave it a Yusuf Amir inspired design, goes nice alongside my Zhaba, the makings of my fleet of vehicles for the Eccentric Gentlemen's Club.
