Well the last time I did it it took me close to 2 hours from the first prep to finishing it. And I had done it quite a few times by that point. The amount of preps just takes quite a bit of time.

I feel that Cayo Perico is also a lot easier to do even for a beginner. Not to mention that you can see the guards and cams without buying yet another property and doing a mission string.

 

And I dont think they will be able to the same thing with the panther because according to Tez its implemented diffrently.

Yes but here's the catch. Let's say they repeat the dose and then put 100% panther chance locked to GTA+ but this time, we already got GTA+ on PC, would it be worth it? You're a PC player just like me and you know how the game is on PC, modders can put diamonds, panthers everytime, they can even put 100% cut to every player so everyone will get the same payout (I joined a heist and a modder did this twice, lol.), So, in my opinion, GTA+ will be so useless on PC, did I mention the liveries? Modders already got them unlocked.

 

I will be REALLY surprised if they, somehow, patch all these stuff like liveries, etc so modders can't easily unlock it but i doubt it, judging by the rumors of people saying "it's easy to get free GTA+ on PS5" i really want to know how it will work on PC.

 

If they don't patch properly on PC, geez, it will be hilarious. And, will be amusing to see people on PC paying for it.

As it stands now, Rockstar can't grant 100% Panther Statue for GTA+ members because it works differently from Diamonds.

 

There's no chance rate for the Panther Statue. It's more heist run based. When Rockstar gave us the Panther Statue long ago, they gifted us a one-time guaranteed heist run to steal the statue. It will be the same UNLESS Rockstar adjusts that with this Summer update.

I can't see them doing this on this year since there might be other things that can be exclusive to just to GTA+, maybe more contents and etc.. But could we see a Rockstar promotion like they do in the Valentines Day?

Not really. I got 250,000 on an account that I wasn't playing on it since 2018, just transferred to PS5, then i got this same message. Yes, the exact message, prime gaming, on PS5. 

 

Also got 1,000,000 in some of my epic games accounts (from CESP bonus) and they all had the same "Prime Gaming Promotion".

 

Rockstar is using the Prime Gaming system to reward players even if they don't have prime.

 

Just to clarify here, it doesn't mean you will get the same bonuses as prime but, if rockstar is giving away X amount of money for playing X mode or completing X, when you get the reward, it will appear as prime gaming.

 

At least that's what happened with three of my PC accounts (and two on PS5).

What? I've never seen this on PC, it just says it's for participating in an event and to stay tuned for the Newswire for more.  At least it has been for the last few times they've offered $$ for completing events/modes/etc.

EDIT: Allow me to correct myself, it just happened for this week's Independence Day races event  I swear I've never seen it say that on PC, I wonder if it's because I recently connected an Amazon account (Prime trial) and everyone with Amazon accounts starts getting that message instead?

Regardless the other user seems to have gotten this week's real Prime rewards, which I've already gotten on Friday too.

I don't have Prime, but all of the recent money give aways have had that Prime rewards message attached to it, just like @theguy1998 said. I also play on PC.

I really wonder what the conditions are because I swear the money for the events of last week or two didn't say it was a Prime promotion for me at all, it just said it was a GTA Online promotion and to stay tuned to the Newswire for more. Only today I saw that Prime message in regards to the Independence Day races.

what about the first time when diamonds were released for the casino heist? is that different? it was also a one time guarantee for the first run of the week.

Yes. Rockstar added two variables for the Diamonds. A chance rate and a one-time use guaranteed gift.

 

But the Panther Statue only has the latter with no chance rate variable.

So its probably the same as ceo crates, where after doing an arbitrary amount of them, it gave you the special cargo crates.

Nah. RDO is being dropped because they never really gave a sh*t about it. It was pretty obvious by 2020. It was a testing ground for things they couldn’t do with GTAO. They put out what little they developed for it and set it on autopilot. Otto has begun to deflate though and soon enough it will crash into a mountain.

 

They know the real money is made with GTAO and they know they need an updated version in order to take care of the many problems the current version has had since launch. They tied old yeller to the tree so they could focus on just that.

Well they've tried to prioritize it at first. Unsuccessfully. I just wish they would move GTAO's weeklies back to Tuesdays now that RDO is officially dead..

I was grudgingly trying to excuse adding hidden decals/liveries for vehicles as GTA+ exclusives, because they can't just add extra decals after the fact - they need to be created along with the regular customisation options, and so with something like the Comet S2 Cyberpunk decals, they might well have been planned for GTA+ all along (depending how long GTA+ has been in the works - possibly as far back as hashing out "E&E", even), with the thinking being that folks on console wouldn't even know those hidden decals existed, because you'd only find them by digging into the PC files. Just because PC folk datamined the update, doesn't mean that everything in there is meant for that specific update - bit like how Forza Horizon 4's update files include details for cars only meant for Horizon 5 and even 2023's new Motorsport, because the way those games handle new cars, they're done in batches, with some being added to one game, others to another, etc.

 

...but then I realised that excuse is BS, because Rockstar can add decals and liveries to pretty much any car (IIRC) - even things from back in 2013, when the "liveries" option wasn't even a thing! Remember how After Hours added new decals for things like the Prairie and the Penumbra? So yeah, would it hurt Rockstar to just add all-new GTA+ exclusives, rather than taking drip-feed stuff from years-old updates and locking them behind GTA+?
