Kicked from car bug?

Is this a new bug on the PC? Or just one I haven't seen before?

I was doing a weapons delivery out of my bunker down in East Los Santos. Bombing along, there were a couple other people in the session but they weren't near me.

Then suddenly, I was ejected out of my Insurgent but didn't take any damage. It was like I was stuck in the middle of the street or something though. Could not move in any direction at all. I tried wiggling and jumping and stuff but no dice. I finally had to find a new session to get unstuck, and obviously lost the delivery mission.

Just some script kiddies. Ejecting players from their vehicle is nothing new.

For safety of your product, use solo public lobbies for sales.

The next modder might actually blow your stuff up by remote.

 

On PC, it's as simple as suspending process through resource monitor (accessible via performance tab of task manager)

Yeah, I do the suspend thing a lot.

I've been kicked out of my vehicle before, just never stuck in the middle of the road.

Same happened multiple times, they are just modders who wants to destroy the gaming experience of others and usually they are not aware what are they doing.

 

As an example, a griefer modder were killing everybody and I reported him. He immediately teleported into my character and he made my character cripple. No movement, no hud, no weapons, no nothing. Some of them are just sending you to cayo perico island, or caging you, or following you through sessions with your Rockstar ID etc. etc., they always find new torture methods and Rockstar still not able to block cheaters/modders completely.

 

Developers always find something new. Such a shame. The player security on PC version is just hilarious.

 

Just like the others say, I also suggest using the Resource Monitor. Try doing your missions in solo public lobbies.

 

If you are in a crowded lobby, check your radar often whether some modder follows you or not. When someone teleports, try to kill you or if you sense any type of danger, immediately use Resource Monitor, suspend your game for 10 seconds and that's it. But before all that happen, you can just start your missions from a solo public session as I said earlier.

 

By the way most likely you know all of these, just adding my opinions so maybe we could help others.

Yeah, I use the suspend on my PC to play solo 99% of the time. I just hadn't noticed anybody else there until afterwards.

I was just wondering, because there wasn't any follow-up, just the slight annoyance. Although later, I realized I probably could have used a grenade to blow myself up and respawn to finish the mission.
