Cayo Perico Heist trouble

I have done the Cayo Perico Heist several times now.  However whenever I try and get product from the warehouse at the Main Dock with the electronic gate, the gate won't open.  I hit the switch and it starts to open, but then closes right away.  I even tried doing it after cutting the power to the island, and it still won't open.  Has anyone else had this problem?

That is not a bug, that is how they were designed. You need 1 player to hold them open, so the other players can get inside.

They have a second switch on the inside to prevent getting locked in, or to let the last play.

 

The only part I didn't know was you could even open them when going solo, but you definitely can not loot them solo because they don't stay open.

I never bothered with them either, because with 2 players I only go for compound loot.
