I don't know what level you are OR how long you've been playing this game but imagine being a new player, seeing your favorite content creators playing with all these upgraded cars, running all their businesses, jumping in a lobby where players are flying around in jets, but not having 8hours of play time a day to grind Cayo on repeat to catch-up with players who have been playing this game for 7 years long.

 

Well paying a fiver a month to progressively catch-up is a decent option I think

I just want the singleplayer of GTA VI to be great, not necessarily the best, but as good as most previous GTAs. After that I'm done with R*. I don't care what they do. I don't care about what ways they could find to suck every last penny of the player. I don't care if they take 20 years to release a new game. I just want VI to be a good game.

 

This is what I've been telling myself for the last couple of years, and the announcement of this sh*tty service just made me hit rock bottom. Surely they won't f*ck up the most anticipated piece of media in history so badly, right?

Improving their netcode would actually need effort, that's a lot more than setting up a "give me 6 bucks a month, idiot" subscription and calling it a day.

I am sure a lot of reviews on steam will be negative from now on, they already been mostly negative lately, but this GTA+ is the worst they could do. And this can't be turned off.

What about those t-shirts and clothing items, liveries for gta+? It seems they are exclusive to subscribers. I know that's not gameplay locked but it is content even if it's minimal. They may even put up more work in designing those clothing items and liveries and offering them only to gta+ players.

f*cking joke, it's only going to get worse. I can see them locking more and more stuff behind this as people revolt en masse like they did for RDO. Towards the end the entire update was locked behind the Outlaw Pass.

That's being an impressionable person who is a follower, rather than having their own mind to make decisions. I've had a "5-year hiatus" from GTAO (on my main account) and only just returned back after E&E. The last thing I bought on that account was the Golden Luxor and a yacht lol. On top of that, I've decided to use my lower second character of 81 and zero businesses. So I'm back to building up everything. First thing I did was get 3 million, bought a Kostaka and grinded the Heist. Nobody is saying you have to play it for 8 hours a day grinding, what's stopping you from doing an hour a day. It's that profitable, you still see something for the time you put in.

 

This is designed for the impressionable people - the idiots basically. Getting 500k a month vs 1.2-1.5 million in 45 mins. lol

Well Elden Ring just managed to humiliate most of westerng gaming with its sales figures so while I don't think there will be another crash (the industry is just too big for that) I'm definitely expecting audiences to continue pivoting towards Japanese developers. That will definitely cause some western companies trouble.
