I'm just anticipating a big nerf to Cayo payouts and cooldowns that just so happens to coincide with a GTA+ bonus of 2x GTA$ and removal of cooldown. I hate what R* have become...

The changes i suggested wouldn't stop shark card sales, it would only change things, ppl would finally play old game modes again. For example a phone call assassination takes like 5-10 minutes, you earn 85K if you do it right. A contact mission that takes 15 minutes to max out the payment only pays, i think it was 35K for taking out the trash or something with max number of players in hard mode. If regular OG contact missions would give ppl 105K for 15 minutes, that wouldn't break the economy, it would only make more ppl play old stuff too. I mean that island heist, still is a much better money maker. With a rebalancing the game wouldn't feel so grindy, because you would earn decent money whatever you do.

 

Everything should be at around 400-500K an hour minimum, to make it worth playing it.

Especially given the base top speed of the Deveste was already pretty high, weird that they made it much slower than Turismo and S95

It is the only one offroad wheels help on, plus it is still a snowplow for taking other cars out

It's not more bouncy than a GTO, Kreiger or anything of the sort. 

Offroad tires actually makes it a blast to drive, and actually saves the thing (because if you remember the Zorrusso, that was fine with offroad tires when they worked, but is now TERRIBLE to drive), and plows through kreigers and emeruses like butter

I love live service games, the monetization of said games is hit or miss, mostly miss, but I love when a game I love gets support for a decade or more, I played Quake III Arena and Unreal Tournament for many years, I played WoW for nearly a decade and have been playing ESO since it came out, I also play GTA Online regularly, and even if there are times that I stop playing these games I always return for new content, I don't see how anyone couldn't love their favorite game getting continued support

It might be time for me to check out of gaming for good.  Too many nickel and diming tactics now.  I haven’t even bothered transferring my character to EE yet.  I was so pumped but the deleting my character when I transfer and this gta+ has killed all excitement.

To be fair to Gran Turismo, they have at least responded, though we'll see if they really address things for the better. Plus it was no different in GT Sport on PS4 for the always online pap, not that I'm excusing it, but fans knew long ago that's the direction of the game. But yeah, the single player content should always be available offline of course.

Not in anyway shape or form that should be acceptable. They tuned the numbers to something crap, then tuned them back. Looks like they've listened to the community while ignoring the much larger problems the game has.

 

DICE did the same with BF2042, butchered the franchise and their response has been to tweak things they were happy to tweak pre-launch while ignoring the the main issue which is the design choices they made, and why they made them.

Oh I agree it's been an awful start (you've seen my bitching on that, lol), but I feel by them reverting their mistake and actually responding is way better than doing a R* and going deaf completely. RDRO would certainly be in better shape if they just responded to the player base and indicated their plans to address concerns. Of course, we'll have to wait and see if what Polyphony do is better for the gamers naturally.
